What's peoples thoughts on this saints dees game
Just checked quickly and this year and last year Melbourne really struggled to put 2 good games together. Not a team that you can put too much trust in.

That being said they're playing a team with a near complete ability to kick goals and they're the superior team so i'm being putting a bit on for the Crown promo.

may be bias, but I cant see Brisbane getting within 4 goals of us. Moore & Adams are crucial ins for our structure, we are in good form, travel well and lions haven't showed anything barring the Port game.
I'm on Coll -13.5 but think I might middle some as the line is out to -23.5.

Bris have been very poor at the Gabba and Coll showing great form and good on the road. Coming off a loss last week so should be nice and hungry.

ill eat my words here.. Brisbane played pretty well and we were lucky to get away with the win

I don't really get the argument when they trained and played there pre-season and have now played several home games there? (The Eagles lost their first there, by the way).

Looks like Dogs really making the most of that home ground advantage so far..

Thankfully the HGA was enough to get the Dogs over the line in the end :thumbsu:

Hmm. Considering the whole argument was that the Gold Coast shouldn't have been such a big underdog, your comment is pointless.

Not at all - the argument was about whether the Dogs still had a HGA at Ballarat given SM was betting on them because he thought the game was at Darwin

It's ok, he's just being petty because he doesn't like to admit he was wrong.

Was I? How much would the dogs have won by at Etihad? How much would GC have won by in Darwin? How much would have GC won by?

If GC win by 10 goals next time the play in QLD that means my conclusion was correct right?

Your conclusion was wrong because we argued that playing at a neutral venue meant that the Suns at a 35 point line was a mis-pricing. They lost by what, 10 points in the end?

So no, you were wrong.

I argued that they were playing at a home venue - what the line was is absolutely irrelevant. Nothing that happened on Saturday can prove that I was right or wrong.

I ask again - what would the line have been at Etihad? Darwin? Gold Coast?

Line would of been the same if it was at Etihad. But because the game was in Ballarat, there was value in getting on Gold Coast +. The whole point of this argument is that it wasn't at Etihad (Dogs official home ground) look up western Bulldogs on Wiki, says home ground: Etihad Stadium

Yes - the entire argument was based on which home ground was listed on the Dogs wiki page

Thanks for finally realizing I was right all along though.

It's OK mate. Some people don't get it. Hope he enjoyed his big dogs win.
