anyone else like the overs for Port v Adelaide? (169.5) - SB
Has gone over this the last 5 times they have played, weather looks to be clear from rain, I see this being a free-flowing game, both teams id say lean more on the 'attacking' side than 'defensive'.
Kind of disagree on both teams being attacking instead of defensive. After getting embarrassed last week, Port should be angry and will look to play a pretty ferocious game I.e tackling, pressure etc. Should go over but there's a big chance this game is a contested arm wrestle. Both teams haven't really showed their offensive capabilities yet, especially Adelaide.

Essendon were shit for like 1 quarter last week. They will put Carlton away with ease
The scoreboard made Essendon look competent for 3 quarters but Hawthorn killed them in general play after quarter time until some late 4th Q junk time goals from the Dons. They were shit for almost 3 quarters.

Nah disagree completely. First half was 50-50 at worst for the Bombers in general. They weren't junk time goals in the last either, pretty sure most of their scoring came in the first ten minutes

Do you think Wc wins?

Since a third of the way through last season GWS has been average to below average in virtually every game they have played including this year as well. They don't seem to have the ability to bounce back from a poor performance like some of the better teams like Sydney so i'm not sure if they will be stung from being embarrassed or will continue to play with little confidence or spirit.

On the flipside some of WC's form can be attributed to stars such as Nic Nat and Shuey and Sheed and Jetta might also miss. Cameron and Lobb back which helps the Giants.

So not really sure which way this one is going to go. I jumped on WC in a multi and +10.5 but to be honest I was sure Nic Nat was going to get off.

Depends on who gws get back this week.

That's basically it.

Sounds like Cogs is carrying something though so even if they get one or two back they'll still be a very sore side.

Carlton's form reflect the quality at their disposal. They haven't beaten anybody and tend to be losing by 20+ most weeks. Often their games have blown out and they have kicked goals late to make the games look closer than they really are. This isn't Bolton's fault - they simply don't have the cattle currently playing to be competitive.

It's going to be a season defining game for Ess so I expect they'll find some form and bounce back. Unlike Carl they have a plethora of high end players which means if they perform they're ceiling is much higher than Carl's (beaten both Port and Ade). Heppell, Merrett, Stringer, Hooker, Hurley, Zaharakis, Fantasia and Smith represent pretty good upper end players.

Assuming Murphy and Marchbank don't play and Ess have been stung by the media roasting and internal pressure then I expect them to get the job done.

Really like Sydney tomorrow
even with Buddy out
Sydney are just one of those sides who always perform when their backs are against the wall
Hawthorn last 2 wins have been against bottom 4 sides.
Sydney by 10 for mine

There hasn't been much discussion about the show down on here
any thoughts?
anyone give port a chance?

With their ins, absolutely.

I agree,
I think they may win too.
Very strong side on paper and Adelaide still with a long list of injuries.
Port will be desperate for a win it's been a while since they have won a showdown.

Have backed the Pies at the line plus 9.5
Always match up well and cats missing Some decent cattle.

Will consider Port at line if they drift a little
Don’t like crows coming off a couple of
Training drill wins and expect Port to be smarting after what they served up.

Thought Books might of been more generous with swans as I think they have some chance of the upset but was wanting $2.60 plus so no bet

I'd be wary backing Freo. B. Hill in a bit of a pickle and talk that Ross Lyon is very close to being stood down as a 2nd scandal is taking root. Plus Wilson out means that 4 quality players missing.
True. But Saints are deplorable, especially away from home. Can't see them scoring 60-70+. Freo are much better at Optus. Don't think the scandal will affect the players.
