im confident we can beat Geelong tomorrow, even if Pendles is a late withdraw (id say most likely). Cats have some injuries & players under-done and our style of play should match up well against there's. Taking ML here.

I'm fairly confident that Collingwood will win too.
Collingwood seem to be playing a very similar style to Richmond lately. This style (high pressure, quick movement with shorter running players, very contestant) seems to really trouble sides like Geelong.

Struggling to get a read on Tigers-North. Went Freo line last week against Richmond and paid the price, but it's a different beast under the roof at Etihad where the Roos have been so good.

Anyone who thinks that actually has an impact isn't influencing betting markets on game day.

2 sexual harassment scandals swirling around the club and rumours that Lyon was going to be immediately stood down / sacked wouldn't have an effect on the players or coaching staff? I'm not sure that spells "ideal preparation".

The scandal broke last week and they were absolutely pumped but it's impossible to quantify any impact whether big or small.

It’s merely a potential distraction. Wouldn’t have affected any match preparation whatsoever

Talking betting markets, it's the same people moving them game day each week, they aren't factoring in a coaches personal life.

The players or coaching staff wouldn't be distracted by knowing their coach was under imminent threat of being sacked or stood down?
No doubt it pops into their mind when their head hits the pillow or when they’re walking the dog etc, but I’d be staggered if it even got a mention during training, selection, reviews, match day etc.

To say it could be a distraction (only if they let it be) is fair but should it alter any match preparation? No way in hell
