I'd go Federici before Langerak.
I still remember that 4-3 Ecuador game...yikes.

Missed out.Brad Jones in great form for Feyenoord and that one save doing the rounds on the internet is high class. At least deserves a squad call up
Missed out.
Could it be due to maybe Jones retiring from Socceroos duties, just not confirmed/or behind the scenes? Could be the case.Good to see Jeggo named, not sure where he fits though. And we are either foxing or supremely confident with Ryan.
Shocked Jones isn't in the squad.
His son has leukemia so maybe he doesn't want to leave him behind. (Dunno if the family moves as he does though)Could it be due to maybe Jones retiring from Socceroos duties, just not confirmed/or behind the scenes? Could be the case.
He was born in Vienna, Austria hence why he is currently playing for Sturm Graz (on his European passport) and has been for the past 2 seasons. Prior to that, he played for Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory for a few seasons. He's an central midfielder similar to Luongo, has both offensive and defensive smarts. Think him being named in the squad is more about getting him aligned with the green and gold for the future, instead of Austria (similar to Giannou with Greece/Australia)Never heard of this Jeggo, someone can give a quick rundown please?
To a lesser extent also Burgess and Irvine in the juniors. He was born in Vienna, Austria hence why he is currently playing for Sturm Graz (on his European passport) and has been for the past 2 seasons. I thought his son passed away a few years ago.His son has leukemia so maybe he doesn't want to leave him behind. (Dunno if the family moves as he does though)
Oh. Damn.I thought his son passed away a few years ago.
Point taken.Jones wouldn't want to jeopardise his club starting spot if he's just going to sit on the pine for the Roos
Geez, a draw for Japan would do us wondersQatar infront at HT.
Iraq have just equalised against Japan
