He was born in Vienna, Austria hence why he is currently playing for Sturm Graz (on his European passport) and has been for the past 2 seasons. Prior to that, he played for Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory for a few seasons. He's an central midfielder similar to Luongo, has both offensive and defensive smarts. Think him being named in the squad is more about getting him aligned with the green and gold for the future, instead of Austria (similar to Giannou with Greece/Australia)
