ATP 2018 ATP Tour - 250/500

So the Paris Masters is about to start. I think it’s ridiculous that any city gets a Grand Slam and a Masters.

Federer claims his 99th career in Basel, will be interesting to see if he plays Paris this week ? I assume that he will give it a miss. Anderson beats Kei for what is remarkably just his 5th ATP title given his ranking. The result leaves Kei 145 points above Isner in the rankings in the race for the final spot in London assuming JMDP doesn't recover in time from his injury.

His drop in the rankings is going to be a good old laugh this time next week.

Can't wait, been clogging up the rankings all season, felt a little ridiculous at the time as well. Has a reasonable doubles career ahead of him anyway.

I suppose no matter what happens Jack Sock will always be a masters 1000 winner and have qualified for an end of season finals.

Isner loses in Paris which means his only chance of qualifying for London is if both Nadal and JMDP withdraw, it's obviously very likely that Del Potro does.

There was so much hype surrounding the likes of Khachanov and Coric in 2013-14, has been a pleasure to watch their seasons unfold the way they have. Rather than a few plucky runs, these two have been impressive at several tournaments, are are now in the wings of the top 10. Should have fine careers.

Khachanov starting to put together a strong finals winning percentage record as well.

Sometimes I forget how young Karen and Coric are. I remember when they first started on tour, they were promoted as the next players to dominate.

Now they are starting to play better and achieving some good results. Hopefully next year they'll perform well at the Grand Slams.
