Thompson is through to tonights Challenger final in Columbus.

This week:

Tomic and Mousley are both in to the final qualifying rounds in ATP main tour tournaments in China today.

DeMinuar and Ebden are in the main draws of main tour events in China.

Pohlmans, Thompson, Patrick-Smith and Banes are all playing the Challenger in Tiburon. Saville and Kelly are still in qualifying.

Kokkinakis and Millman withdrew from their events.

Kokk playing a Challenger in Mexico this week and drew David Ferrer in R1.
Surprised he has the motivation to keep playing when you're 36 previously a top 5 player in the world and now having to play challengers.

I guess he just wants to play and unlike Hewitt at the end of his singles career he can't click his fingers and get a WC for every tournament.

I’ve always thought of Hewitt as being a poor man’s Ferrer tbh
Probably not far away as players but Hewitt won grand slams and as far as tennis politics goes having TA in your corner is going to get things done for you wildcard wise.
