Hey Ron

The career top 10 finishes - is that for each club or career? I.e did Bernie finish top 10 in every season for Melbourne besides this one? Or are they including Adelaide seasons (which then seems quite small)

Ron The Bear is it possible to find a quirky stat for me? The Eagles have had 8 different B&F winners in the last 8 years, and if Redden or Hurn win this year will be 9 in 9. Do you know if any other team has had that happen before?

Adelaide Crows had a different B&F in each of their first 10 seasons, 1991-2000.

8 in 8 has happened suprisingly often, e.g. West Coast's first 8 winners. The only clubs where it hasn't happened are Richmond (6), Port Adelaide (7), Gold Coast (3) & GWS (6).

The record is 13 different winners in 13 years, North Melbourne 1936-48.

Whole career, including other clubs. Vince had a 1st and a 7th at Adelaide, and a 1st/3rd/7th at Melbourne.

That's the second high placing in as many years for Kane Lambert. (Dimma's lovechild?)
He flies under the radar. He'd have to be one of the more underrated players in the AFL

Interesting that Brayshaw comes 3rd in the Brownlow yet only places 6th in the Melbourne B&F.

If you play 10 blinders and 12 shockers you could end up on 30 votes in the brownlow and outside the top 10 in club B&F. B&F reward consistency. More likely to win a B&F getting votes in each game than only polling in half the games. Plus Brayshaw missed 2 or 3 games, that damages chances of winning B&F's

+ b and f rewards players for doing their job.

Backman nullifies buddy to 2k, 1 hb - whilst getting 2k, 1hb himself .... brownlow ignores - f and b goes nuts.

I've only got patchy data before 1996, but GWS 2013 & Richmond 2011 also had this demographic.

Thanks :) According to someone on twitter, it's the second youngest top ten of the last decade behind the Giants of 2013 who were obviously in infancy and won one game.
