I've seen plenty of partners of the male players wearing pant suits at these types of events in the past - so I just find it an odd observation to be making is all

I'm the same - whenever I'm attending an event with a dress code applied to it, I research it to see what I can get away with in terms of pants & going classier with the top.

They also look completely impractical, and I'd love to know how they sit in then at the tables
