Coniglio should be top 5 and Ward should get a few votes but can't see too many other giants polling in multiple games
It would be great if Gawn finishes second and Grundy in the top 5 but not sure on how many games they would poll in

Dylan & Haynes have polled a couple of games, but perhaps not too many more. Whitfield I'd think would poll a few throughout; Kelly a few in his purple patch.

Round 5 v St Kilda
3 - Brett Deledio

Round 7 v Geelong

Round 8 v West Coast Eagles

Round 9 v North Melbourne

Shiel, Haynes, Ward - 4

Final Standings:
16 - Lachie Whitfield (equal 12th): congrats Lachie, a fantastic season
13 - Callan Ward: another excellent season
11 - Steve Coniglio: well done on a solid showing again
10 - Josh Kelly, Dylan Shiel
6 - Jeremy Cameron
5 - Nick Haynes (well done on multiple votes!)
3 - Brett Deledio
1 - Toby Greene, Ryan Griffen

10 players polled votes, 5 players scored 10 or more, 75 votes for GWS players overall.

Then again... I have no idea why the Brownlow is held in so much higher regard than any of the other awards. We spend pretty much every minute of every game calling the umpires every name under the sun - questioning their eyesight, mental capacity and basic understanding of the game - yet in this regard we are supposed to take their opinion as something that matters, something to celebrate. Weird.

Thought Coniglio would have polled more votes but he can remain underrated for another season but well done to Whitfield and Ward and with the reasoning on why a Giant will struggle to win the medal I think it is why Mitchell and Fyfe will poll well in that others will not take votes and the ball away from them but if Coniglio has another goal a game and 25 touches next year along with having Scully, Kelly and Greene in the team he should get some individual honours

I believe that unless someone truly ramps their game that top group will always take points from each other, great for GWS, not so great for producing a Brownlow winner

Brisbane begs to differ, but we'd need to finish a clear top two with plenty of dominant performances to get the votes to do it. Only four sweeps and another four 3-2 pairings isn't enough.
