Will be great to see 3 teams in Grand finals next Sunday at Sandringham's Trevor Barker oval. Would love to see three flags. Hawthorn will be out for revenge after their 2016 loss to us. So the expectation is one tough match in the seniors. Hopefully GE Gryphons will do it for JWC who broke his arm in 3 places last week.

Sunday !

Disappointed to hear that Albert Park have not reappointed their Senior Coach for next season. Club legend who has been there a hell of a long time & great guy as well. Bit stiff in my opinion given all the hurdles he had to face this season.

Will Albert Park go down to Div 4. I did hear a whisper that Eltham are leaving the VAFA and wont be coming down to Div 3.

Great effort from Jack Amies in the league vote count in a losing team.

Would be a mixed blessing at best. AP scored a reprieve this year when Point Cook went to the WRFL. All it got them was another year as second last. Maybe 2 down, 3 up would be better, though I don't remember the VAFA ever doing this.

Div 3 reserves GF only one boundary supplied. Surely with no games other than finals there should be spare boundaries available.
No change yet. Every other VAFA final has all umpires supplied and some have reserve umpires in case of injury but not so for D3 reserves with one boundary. Cannot believe there isn't one ump available . Not good showcasing the VAFA like this.

Seniors-Hawks to do it for the big fella Dan Lauleta. Hawks by 20 points
Reserves-Glen Eira by 10 points.
Good luck to all involved.

Seniors and u19 premiers. Reserves lost. Boundary turned up after calls to the VAFA.
Great game in the seniors with the three big outs but they believed in themselves. Up until half time it looked like Hawthorn were going to break their finals hoodoo but it seems GE went into another gear as they have done many times this year. The rivalry continues in D2 next year. Also a big thanks to the black army of followers who turned up in droves to show their support.

Good win by hawks 2's, unfortunately 1's record over last 3 years runners up, winless, runners up. Fly in players didn't get the job done..

Congrats to Hawthorn reserves on their victory yesterday
, just a quick question, how is the player who was stretchered off o
In the 2nd quarter?
