I'd tell them to **** off if they're asking for pick 27 also; they want a player that won't be there at pick 9 then ****ing pay up and don't try and get shit as leverage when we're using it.

Let's say that we do that trade and Brisbane decides that they'll bid for West since pick 19 is a reasonable bid, will barely be effected since we'll obviously match it and know that we wouldn't give him up at that price? We can talk about how "OH WE'LL GET A SECOND FIRST ROUND PICK" when it's an end of first round pick and it's a massive roll of the dice that somebody won't play silly buggers.
