Jeez, the prices the clubs are paying by trading next year's picks are exhorbitant. I think they're getting ripped tbh, to only move up slightly this year.

I'm glad we only traded this year's picks to our advantage.

The trade means if Khamis is bid on between now and 43 we still get 2 picks before 43 otherwise without the trade we’d be picking at 57 unless Khamis got past 42

Bailey Smith at 7 and Rhylee West at 34 are both fantastic value. Smith could easily have gone top 5 with his talent and if West wasn't a F/S and locked to us, likely would have gone in the late teens, was ranked anywhere from 10 - 17 for most of the year. Very happy with those two so far.

Power is a lot smarter than a few people in here who wanted to trade up, meaning we would've essentially lost our second rounder next year (or pushed back 10 spots) due to being a large points deficit.

It's like people think this is the only draft that matters.

No I think you will find that where West was bid on our next 3 picks at that point in time would have given us just enough points to match. Could easily have traded in another third or fourth rounder anyway.

Yep. 57 is gone. 43 is our last pick. so using it on Khamis doesn't make sense.
