I might give it a go next week, thinking it will be pretty tough especially for the key position players.
All the players have been informed of the VM 40, just haven't been released publicly.

A great work rate does wonders for a playerWalsh racks up the possessions with ease doesn't he?
He has the best tank in the draft, that is a massive help.A great work rate does wonders for a player
unless his recovery is complicated, i still reckon he goes top 5

Not now....Not with an ACL & with the added complication of being 200cm's.....Rucks are far more susceptible to re-injuring them & take far longer to fully recover from them.....They can have a severe impact on your leaping ability in some cases; Not to mention the psychological scars & impact on confidence in one's own body.
TBH, I could see someone like the Hawk's being extremely interested in him, and trading up to that 5-10 range for him to get him.
Then you aren't aware of our draft history with regards ruckmen....Take a gander through the archives of our past 25 years & see how many rucks we have drafted ourselves as opposed to trading the ready-made blokes in.....Here's a sample size for you.
Shaun Rehn, Paul Salmon, Peter Everitt, David Hale, Jonathan Ceglar, Ben McEvoy.
No chance in hades will we ever waste another first rounder on a ruckman.....The fact is, we've only ever gone to the draft this past decade with late first round picks.....Both of which went on Isaac Smith & Ryan Burton.....We tend to trade our early picks away for ready-made talent so as to avoid the draft lottery.
I'd have assumed this was common knowledge.....But with rucks & talls, it's even more the case......After Dowler, Thorp & Renouf.; Thrice bitten, thrice shy.
Max King is a 200cm goal kicking machine. He’s not a ruckman. If Hawthorn had a first rounder and he was available we would be absolutely mad not to take him.
Think Ryan Burton x 10
Yeah just look at Ben Brown, Patton, even further back with Richo. King will be fine albeit a slightly higher relative risk of reinjuring compared to other players.
There've been way more busts than there have wins on the big man front.....Mitch Thorp was touted as the next Jonathon Brown in the Super-Draft of 2006....And based on his junior years he was....So much for that prediction.
A year earlier, Beau Dowler was the best key position forward in Victoria.....He then busted his hip in a car accident & never fully regained confidence thereafter.
