And his younger brother Nick is in the pipeline, and a jet (apparently). You would hope so, as he builds into AFL he will be a ripper IMHO

Holt-fitz had a quite year with injuries!?Don't think anyone could make a case for him being NGA eligible. Don't have to be indigenous, IQ isn't, neither is Wraith (spelling). Even A2B2 is of island decent I think.
Both Green and Holt-Fitz are listed at NT Thunder and are draft eligible this year. Be interesting to see what happens. My nephew is playing there but he's not giving me anything about them. Thinking of cutting him from the will.

We obviously never had a claim on Green as he isn't indigenous, and doesn't qualify in any other way. IQ and Bailey Wraith both have a parent who is African, and Atu B. seems to qualify under the CALD Country clause!Don't think anyone could make a case for him being NGA eligible. We still have the future second that we can either go into deficit for, or trade for some picks this year that ensure we have enough points should both Quaynor and Kelly get bids in the first round.

Pay him 10k to go away!Few posters posted about it. It doesn’t really matter. Our list needs to be finalised in a month, and I don’t think his test result will be returned by then.
Magden and only allowed 1 Irish which leaves 1 spot?Pretty sure you can only have 1x Irish player as a Cat B. Means 1 of them has to go onto the rookie list.
Stephenson.Would like us to take a small pressure forward with one of our later picks/rookie. Feel like we need someone who can tackle and bob up with a few goals here and there, developing in the 2’s.
Yeah and I think Ned said he already has an agreement with dogs to swap a late pick if required.Important thing to remember is we still have the capacity to trade picks. It will be sorted.
Stephenson is going to be developing in the 2’s now?Stephenson.
For now. I’m talking about developing one for the future. JS will move up into the middle soon enough.Stephenson plays the small pressure fwd role.
The "minimum of three picks" can include rookie upgrades. Adelaide last year took two players in the National Draft and upgraded two rookies; Melbourne in 2016 drafted two and upgraded one, thus complying with the rule. The players are no longer named in the N/D as such; that was changed a few years back, and the upgraded rookies are just named separately. If we upgrade Mihocek and Thomas to the senior list from the rookie in the national draft do they count as 1 of the 3 national draft picks we are required to take? If so I can see us upgrading those two, taking Quaynor and Kelly, and bowing out of the draft. I think that means we only need 3 list spots this year because we went into the year with 39 and we can have 40 on the senior list.
Wraith the big unknown, barely spoken about. If he's not much chop we should rookie Jok or Hore if available.
Does anybody know when the de-listings have to be done by?

The current rules: 6.2 (d) Number of Draft Selections
(i) At a National Draft Selection Meeting:
(A) each Club shall exercise a minimum of 3 Draft selections (including selections forfeited under Rules 8.7, 10.11(a), 13.4(b), 14.4(d) and 15.8(b)); and
(B) no Club may exercise more than 3 Draft selections if the consequence would be that it would exceed the number of Players which it is entitled to include on its Primary List pursuant to these Rules.
10.11 Inclusion of Rookie List Player onto Primary List
(a) Primary List
A Club may apply to the AFL to transfer a Player or Players from its Rookie List onto its Primary List:
(i) on the day when its Primary List is lodged with the AFL prior to the National Draft Selection Meeting under Rule 6.1 by lodging with the AFL the form prescribed in Schedule 1 as Form 33. In which case, the Club shall forfeit its last selection or, if more than one player, its last and each previous draft selection at the National AFL Draft Selection meeting.
(ii) in the case of a Category B Rookie, under Rule 26.1(b); or
(iii) at any time between the National Draft Selection Meeting and the day when its Primary List is lodged with the AFL prior to the Pre-Season Draft Selection Meeting under Rule 7.1, if a Player’s name has been deleted from that Club’s List under Rule 7.6 by lodging with the AFL the form prescribed in Schedule 1 as Form 33.
Yes, we had 39 on the senior list, with 5 Cat. A Rookies and 1 Cat. B Rookie. Josh Thomas was on the Rookie List all season. Since the rules were changed and Cat. A rookies are able to play any time from rd. 1 onwards, without needing to be elevated, they no longer have nominated rookies. Only the Cat. B rookies need to be elevated (during the season) for them to be able to play. They moved Thomas on to the senior list page on the club website when he was elevated mid-2017 (they did the same thing with Cox and Schade at the start of the season) and it seems no-one got around to moving him back at the end of the year!!I think we went into the season with a senior list of 39. You can have 40. It makes me think that we'll delist Blair, Smith and Kirby. Fasolo is also off the list after being traded. That leaves 5 senior list spots to fill. Mihocek and Thomas to be upgraded from the rookie (noting Thomas is listed on the senior list but pretty sure he was a temp elevation and is actually on the rookie). Quaynor and Kelly to be recruited. And one other list spot to fill which could be Atu B or a random Hine special. I reckon Oxley is also gone so there will be a few spots to fill on the rookie. Broomhead takes one. But there'll be another two to fill. A bit of room for regeneration with some creative drafting. It gives a lifeline to McLarty also which I like!

There must be a pretty fair chance that we'll leave Mihocek on the Rookie List. As long as we can keep him happy with his contract it shouldn't really matter to him what list he's on, especially as he can still play from rd. 1 next year. Given that list spots are rather precious at the moment, they may keep him where he is for at least another year.I think we went into the season with a senior list of 39. You can have 40. Don’t we have to add Beams and Roughead though? Broomy going to rookie takes one spot so if we want that 3rd pick someone else needs to go.
I’d be looking to find a way to get rid of Murray and pay out one of Crocker or Wills.
