Taylor is already talked of as a top 10 pick.

Really the whole first round is a quite strong and every team will get a good player, top 10 very strong.

Top 10 supposly be just about the Best Ever.

On the Broadcast they say this Draft could be as Good as the 2001 Draft

Draft Tampering Much?
Can you actually explain why you think this is draft tampering Dave? They’re not actually manipulating anything as far as I can see....

They have lot Closer Look at Max and Maybe they can Leak some False Info about his Recovery though they probably have high enough Pick to get Max.

They Tried that with Stephenson

So it just means it gives them an opportunity to draft tamper.
Draft tampering isn't occurring.

And I highly doubt they will do that.

Having a closer look is hardly tampering, and given all clubs will have medical checks on players done before the draft there’s nothing St Kilda could reveal that clubs won’t find out themselves.

They Tried that with Stephenson
Do you have proof of this or is it another Twitter rumour?

They're two I'd consider drafting if there.

Both are serious talents.

Hey Knighter……….what position did you have Stephenson ranked in last year?

Not high enough (11). Was concerned about his heart issues. Had that not been a concern, I may have had him at 6 - behind Rayner/LDU/Cerra/Dow/D.Fogarty.

Darcy Fogarty was the one I would have chosen, heart issue or not on draft day.

Stephenson is making a great case that he should have gone pick 1 or close though. Having a terrific debut season.

To be fair to you Knightmare, few had Stevo right up the top of their rankings and those that had him top 6ish couldn't have predicted this.

All the analysis in the world can't always predict that X factor that some players have that allows them to become absolute stars at the elite level.

I mean, heart issues and being built like a famished stick insect aren't great indicators that you're going to play round 1, not miss a game right through at least the first half of the season and look like setting goal kicking records for draftees!

Starting to waver on this draft pool. With a likely selection around 13-20 think we will get one good one in but given not likely to have another until mid 50's I think we might go in with min picks at this stage. I think the pool falls away a bit around 30. With a bit of luck Quaynor doent get bid pre 15. I dont think he will at this stage so Kelly and he should come relatively cheaply along with Wraith.

I like the look of ATU as a late pick or rookie as well, think he has a lot of potential as a small fwd.

There's logic there Dave - the Dragons train at the same complex and Max has to get AFL-level support with his rehab as he's a National Academy-listed player.

No point making the kid go out of his way for his rehab when he lives virtually around the corner.

Why do you think that we will pick Wraith up and not Atu

Knightmare, what are your thoughts on Ned McHenry, i liked the look of him on the weekend.

Pressure was good on the week and has been through the u18 champs so far.

High level speed/endurance athlete. Can play outside and showing he can also play forward.

Skills/composure didn't impress me on the weekend and will be something to continue to watch and hope was more an outlier than the norm in that role.

One who coming into the season was considered a fringe first round choice, but is probably more a mid draft choice now with others passing him by.

A possible role player as that pressure forward and probably a suitable list fit.

With that said, I favour Collingwood adding Atu as that pressure forward and ground level option as a category B rookie instead.

Also Kelly looked pretty solid. Reckon we'll pick him up?

Kelly is looking better down back than he did forward. He's adapting to the position and starting to show signs. A possible choice to keep tracking.

A club inside the top 15 bidding on Quaynor? I wouldn't match a bid inside the top 30 for him!

He's a solid defender with an advanced body, but lacking upside. His best case scenario is he becomes Lumumba - as that strong bodied defender with ok athleticism who blasts long in hope without lowering his eyes.

Atu who should last until the rookie draft I rate the higher of the two of the Pies next gen academy boys.

Cheers mate.

Likely pick number?

Top 10 after last years champs was talked about as a future pick 1 with Lukosious. He dominated that champs as a midfielder.

He isn't just small forward (although spending more time there this season) he is being under utilised and I wouldn't be surprised if the Crow bots have their dirty mits all over this requesting his move forward.

He was playing and dominating the midfield the year before then all of a sudden nah he's a "small forward" in 2018. Nothing suss.

Here's him destroying last years draft crop would of went pick 1 last year:
