Grabbed the two highly rated prospects we would have been forced to use our 1st and 2nd round picks on.

But still able to bring in Beams.

We basically traded our first round next year (hopefully will be 15+) for Beams, as the point swaps meant we still had enough points to get our targeted 1st and 2nd round quality players!!

Well thank goodness this all worked out for us with West being bid on and not only no deficit but a final pick as 63. It was certainly cut fine, but this has now been an excellent draft and trade period as it currently stands.

The Beams deal is ultimately for a future 1st rounder. That's a very fair deal. We still had a 1st and 2nd pick this year.

Agree with this. He is a speculative pick at best. Happy to draft him late but wouldn't go into deficit for him.
