Will Martyn in team Bartel is the only Lions academy guy I can see in the squads, if the numbers on afl.com are to be believed he'll be in number 6.

Don't know what it is but I've gone off the draft (I blame trading, boo) and usually would be all over today's game. In all seriousness trading out of the early parts for this years draft isn't such a bad thing. Always next year's draft and the year after that and so on. I reckon we are well placed to start trading and can see future draftees also being important to that success. As the season progresses it will be interesting to see where our needs lie but I'm still a believer of building our midfield.

A tradition of making it harder for interstate teams and as a result making premierships more special for an interstate club isn't a good thing.

With superior stadiums in SA, WA and an upgraded SCG. The MCG doesn't hold the same appeal.

Seriously it’s all corporate if your club has members it’s the same you want to go you buy the tickets, back when I went in 2001–3&4 we were there and plenty of support for us best teams get over it and if at West Coast for instance bloody side harder for teams to play there, at least mcc members are unbiased

Ballenden last year Talk top 10 top 20 although went 43.
The question is really when its our turn to pick and you can pick one out of Tom Berry and McFadyen which do you take?

I don't think we will be picking McFadyen with our 2nd unless someone bids on them. f Berry is available, pick him and let the lower draft picks grab him
