Every player drafted by the Lions is going to be a 300 game, Brownlow medalist winning premiership captain according to this board. It is why I refrain from commenting on Lions playing ability these days even though I'm correct pretty much every time.

You think being injured from the combine would lower the draft pick.
Although with our local boys from the Lions Academy players or Berry we are into we over state them sometimes where they go
Ballenden last year was talk top ten did not go that high.
I say Noble etc would have a good idea what McFayden is worth. as seen him long term.. the Combine helps the Vic states.
Although these days you think they know way in advance

I think he was injured (foot) before the NEAFL finals. Needed a fair time out for rehab.

Not sure I should say this but, Noble mentioned at the All For One Guernsey presentation that they were hoping the injury would lower his value a bit.

Rozee fairly high. I must admit I have had no time to go over this years draftees but have heard Rozee is on the 5+ mark. Shame about Lukosius.

I think that we are very well placed here at the moment. I can see this being a trade in of Neale or attacking the draft one last time. Obviously it all hinges on pick 5 and the possibility of working something out with Adelaide. Moving 5, 32 and 55 for Adelaide's 8, 13 and most probably 21 (prefer 16 but that's possibly being greedy ). Giving us 8, 13, 21, 41 and 44.

He was disappointing somewhat in that game. So were many of his teammates. He still bobbed up with 3 goals and 2 behinds. Despite performing below his best, it’s always an encouraging sign to see a young key forward still find a way to affect the scoreboard on a bad day.

Rozee’s back end of year performances have been very good. Hard not to have him in that top 5 conversation.

Not making comment on Garoni specifically, but clubs accept that many of the boys drop off towards the end of the season.

Not uncommon for boys that participated in the Nationals, especially some of the lighter frame ones, to plateau or drop in form in the back half. Conditioning programs for these types are often deliberately cut back in order to work on bulk, thus effecting their running ability. For this reason, greater emphasis is often placed on early and Nationals form. This is even more so with many of the bottom aged players, who can hit the wall, so to speak, even earlier.

On the brief bit of trade radio I listened to today it seemed like St Kilda wouldn't do any pick swap until the last moment. I also get the feeling that they won't want to drop down as far as 8 so I think Adelaide will need to make a deal with us first and then maybe move up on draft night if they need to.
