Josh Williams - kicked a goal for North Melbourne with his very first mark and kick in AFL has been delisted after just 2 years on their list. He is a tall, pacy Queenslander with a great mark and ice-cool kick for goal... might be worth a look at for a rookie spot.

Thought he was one of the better performed Allies players in his draft year

Anyone have a gauge on when Berry might go? Early in the year people were saying late teens if I remember correctly. But I haven’t heard him mentioned much outside the lions recently. Are we a chance later in the draft?
Everything I have heard and read is 40+ to potentially sliding to a rookie pick (that from Cal Twomey).

Lion's brother keen to renew backyard battles at AFL level
JARROD Cameron remembers the backyard battles with his brother Charlie. He particularly remembers his older sibling getting the better of him on many occasions. It's why he's keen to square the ledger at AFL level at some stage in the future.

Jarrod, a 180cm forward out of Western Australia, is in a similar mould to Charlie – who has risen up the ranks to become one of the game's most exciting players at Brisbane. He's quick, skilful, tackles with plenty of vigour and has a great goal sense that enables him to become a threat of hitting the target virtually any time he's within range.

But while he doesn't quite have the leap of Charlie – who pulled down a Mark of the Year contender against Hawthorn earlier this season – he does have him covered elsewhere. "He goes all right," Jarrod told AFL.com.au with a laugh. "He's got more of the speed and the jump, but I've probably got him in some other skills."

Charlie, who is six years older than Jarrod, has quickly become one of the game's most watchable footballers. Claimed as a rookie by Adelaide, he played an integral part in its road to the 2017 Grand Final, before being granted a trade to Brisbane later that year. Having seen his brother live through that experience has made Charlie a good source of advice for Jarrod throughout his draft year, often turning to him for some words of wisdom.

"He's just said to not take it for granted and make the most of it," Jarrod said. "He said to not let it catch up on you, with the media stuff. But that hasn't bothered me. "We try to avoid having footy chats, we just try and get away from that and chat about just the general stuff. He's been a good role model for me."

Like his brother, Jarrod grew up in Queensland, playing rugby league until he was 16. When he eventually made the transition into footy, players who Jarrod could aspire to replicate were few and far between. Charlie proved the perfect person to inspire him.

"With our backgrounds, going from rugby league to footy, I've basically tried to model my game on his and how he goes about it," Jarrod said. "We didn't play much footy as kids. We played a few games together in the backyard, where he probably got the best of me, so I wouldn't mind playing against him again. "I suppose there would be a bit of a rivalry there. If I ever played against him in the AFL, I'd probably have a good crack at him."

While Charlie is located on the other side of the country with the Lions, Jarrod's future looks destined to be in Western Australia – and, in particular, with the Eagles. Jarrod is expected to be the first graduate of West Coast's Next Generation Academy program later this year, with the Eagles able to match any opposition bid on the talented small forward during next month's NAB AFL Draft.

The bolded underlines how farcical the NGA is. Jarrod Cameron was already playing footy before Charlie was playing which would put him at about 12 years old. West Coast has done nothing to attract / introduce him to the game, yet they get a free hit at him.

I seriously hope we bid on Jarrod at pick 18 and force WCE to pay up if Jarrod hasn't already been nominated.

With a bit of luck, Jarrod will want to play with his brother and move "home" to play with Charlie (as opposed to the other way), although it seems that Perth is just as much as home as Brisbane is.

Have a feeling Lukosius will be at pick 5. I think we will regret trading in Neale instead of going to the draft. I'm 50/50 on the Neale trade as it currently stands but if Jack is there at 5 it will be seen as a huge loss on our behalf. I just reckon we should have stuck to our initial plan in hitting the raft for 3 years, then trade in for needs.

Can understand Carlton passing because of Walsh but if Suns and Saints lads on him their draft and recruitment team should be fired on the spot.

Don't know about this call. Got a massive vibe from Lukosius that he wanted to go back home wherever he ended up. Will see what happens over time though.

No chance getting to 5 if he does its rigged and we wouldn't of got him then either

Where do you get the vibe from?

He’s done some interviews where he’s said he isn’t 100% ready to move interstate. Did say it could help his football, but considering he was always going to make top 5, I kind of see that kind of comment as “I probs going to try and move back”.

Wouldn’t put it past the SA clubs if the discussions had already happened with a move after his initial contract.

When are posters on here going to learn drafting is about whats needed not what's wanted comparing whoever goes at pick 5 to neale is a pointless exercise noble has said we're are after speed and looking for those half back running types so let's move on and get excited and hope for the likes of Stocker Ely smith Mcfayden mclennen who by the way barracks for us and berry.

Especially to the picks who most likely go home in 2yrs

This is the thing I think that a lot of people tend to forget. You just simply can't look at picks in isolation. I know quite a few posters have mentioned about the De Goey at 5 thing for Beams but it just isn't that simple. De Goey quite likely would have gone home after two years at that time as well. It isn't just about drafting talent for non-Melbourne clubs. It is about drafting talent who will not go home and there is no exact science to what is already a lottery with the draft anyway.

Long point short, you simply cannot pass up an A-grader in Neale who actually wants to come to the club for a draftee who A. might end up a future superstar, B. Might go home after 2 or more years and C. may end up a bust. The choice of going for Neale in the circumstances that Qld clubs face is an absolute no-brainer.

Suns gave up pick 2 for a C+ grader.

Undersells Weller a bit tbh. I reckon he's a B grader who's peak will be about B+. Don't see him becoming an elite talent.

Potential is just that whereas the proverbial bird in the hand....
