Geez, I think some are heaping some early pressure on McFadyen. At most I’m guessing people have seen him play somewhere between 2 and 160 minutes of him. He’s not even on our list yet.

If I were Gold Coast, I’d take the twins. Ask Brisbane if they can have Lyons.
Tried to build a family culture.

Lyons can't even get a game at out team, dunno why they would want him. IMO, they either take both twins or both midfielders. Don't think they would only take 1 of the twins.

Could we trade our 2nd rounder this year and our first rounder for next year to the gold coast for pick 3 this year??? On the assumption that they end up with 2 & 3 after lynch compo. Would they go for that? That way we end up with 3&4 this year. Could end up with a combination of walsh and rankine or perhaps a king or a smith depending whokes who

Personally I doubt if we go for either of the King twins, we don't really need another tall. Mids is what we need. I would think if we have 3 & 4 we would be able to get 2 of either Walsh, Smith or Rankine

Agree with this, don't get me wrong there were parts to his game that I did like but if he draft him I can see him being a long term proposition for us requiring a number of pre-seasons to get up to the required fitness.
I would like to use the picks we get this year and then use the picks we get next year, next year. Your not going to sell the farm to get Walsh when it's quite conceivable you might get an equal/better player at pick 3/4/5. It's crazy talk.
there is an evidently large drop off after the top 5/6 players with 3 of those being mid-types. The only reason I would look to move up if we sat just outside of that range. I don't look at it as a situation of what you might have to give up but more of what the addition could look like. If we are in that range then I would be happy to sit and draft one of those 3 mid-types.

Cannot seeing us drafting any KPP at all in this draft. If we miss the three previous mids it would be interesting to see if any clubs would move up to acquire one of the King twins. Lots of things could happen.

He was talking about us getting Jarryd Lyons from the Suns so we'd have both Lyons on our list.
Other way around. They were suggesting Gold Coast recruit both Kings and double up on Lyonses in order to establish a family culture.

If we finish above St.Kilda, I wouldn't be surprised to see them take one of the King twins. Been painfully evident this year how much they miss Riewoldt. Then again, they have an ageing midfield, so they might snap up a mid instead

It’s always a bit funny when something unpredictable happens in an unpredictable season how quickly people assume that that unpredictable thing is now going to be the new normal.

Expect anything.
