Heard from a couple of club recruiters that Bailey Smith has flat out refused to move to an interstate club, and indicated as such in his interviews.

Hope someone outside Victoria picks him TBH. Ties in with this article in HS.

Lol. That is embarrassingly soft. Can't even imagine having that mindset, couldn't wait to get out & stand on my own two feet when I left school.

Twomey had valente originally. Smith was in his late mail article not the phantom. It's just been bumped to the top of the news cycle that's all

Coupla posters worried we may have too many "inside" types. The Demons have built a future contenders list on the back of a core of big, strong midfield group. I have no issue taking Smith, McFadyen and Berry.

Suggestion on the Fox broadcast that GWS and the dogs will swap picks - GWS up to pick 7, and drop down from 19 to 27, Dogs get pick 9 and 19. Makes sense re Rhylee West and Briggs.

That is brilliant. There was quite a bit of negativity around the partnership but I think it's a great fit. In terms of marketing & entertainment, & cross promotion it works so much better than just naming it after a bank or airline etc.

Couldn't believed people getting mad about it. I have far more of an issue with accepting money from Etihad given human rights issues than I do with the AFL partnering with Disney.

Couldn't believed people getting mad about it. I have far more of an issue with accepting money from Etihad given human rights issues than I do with the AFL partnering with Disney.

I used to chuckle seeing Etihad ads on TV when they used Nicole Aniston & Nicole Kidman in their commercials. Yep, the UAE is such a world leader in Women's rights.

Is the five minutes mandatory? Why not give choosing club an option to lock in an anonymous selection, every club an option to pass or offer and if selection is locked and no offers move on to the next club?
