I think Josh Williams will be decent , paying a bit over but as local I am ok with it .

If we constantly turning players over. Worth a second rd pick for a third or forth rd pick player because they are local.

The club will only be in a worse position then now.

Aaron Hall had 3BOG in first 3 games last year to be leading the brownlow for abit

I agree, can't be a straight swap. But Aaron isn't worth more than a 2nd round pick by himself. So maybe Williams and Hrovat for Hall? I am not sure. Roos supporters don't seem to be really rating Hrovat?

I agree , but what can you do the size of 44 list spots just not working for GC . If GC are allow to increase from 44 to 48 list spots I will keep Leslie , Spencer , Lonergan type of players for another year and ask North for Josh William with another player.
 
I'd like Mason Wood
Not sure they would be willing to give him up.
If we had to give a little something extra I'd be ok with that.
Say swap of second round picks
 
They won't give up Mason wood , Waite is going to retire next year .
 
Forget the Kangas why don’t the suns trade pick 2 to the Crows so they get Lukosius for Mitch McGovern and Melbourne’s first rounder currently pick 15. Thoughts?

If you believe in equating players to draft picks in terms of points that puts Mcgovern at the equivalent of pick 10.
I don't think it's too bad.

Even Josh Williams and pick 40 id settle with.

Could package 40 and one of our own picks 26 or 28 to move to pick 20?

The only problem with that is.. pick 26or 28 will end up better then our pick 20 its just how we roll

Or use pick 40 on an academy player?

But still list number issues

That is the main issue . The rest will get a bit easier .

I just believe we should target mature players of reasonable quality. Ideally I would be happy with picking up Miles for a third round pick, Lloyd from Swans for a second rounder plus someone like a Casboult. We have a heap of academy players but realistically how many of our current players would get picked up on another list... A few are list cloggers unless we get concessions to have more as category b rookies

Yeah we need to keep pick 2 and 3 if we get it.
If would be huge for our club to get two of Walsh, Lukosius or Rankine

I do rate Lukosius I just think he is a huge flight risk... be Prestia, O’Meara, Caddy, Bennell and Lynch all over again. By the time he is of quality his gone... McGovern is ready now and would add immediate impact to our squad.

It's a waste of time to even dream about getting a big name players to our club.
No one wanted to come when we had one of the best players ever running around why would they come now ?

Keep pick 2 & 3 then see what we can get with the rest target Lloyd, McVeigh, Newman, Miles, townsend, wallis, dahlhaus
 
Hope Mark Evans has put a call into his old mate.
Cyril would love playing under the only indigenous captain
