You're kidding aren't you? May has elite closing speed. It's one of his best assets. Commentators who watch him play frequently bring it up. Can't recall Lever taking the gorillas too often, he often struggles when he actually has an opponent and isn't allowed to roam and take intercept marks as a third tall. May the better player by a considerable margin. The only upside Lever has over May is his age.I think the GF sprint is just a joke to be honest we have seen players like Fevola run in these races
I have seen May do extremely well against players body on body but usually gets outpaced with leading fowards with pace but in saying that Tom Lynch is also pretty slow
