Pretty relaxed lot our Mods We get that much riff raff through here, the trolls need to do something extraordinary to get a card. This one’s just an ordinary run of the mill sad trolling attempt.

Its not a paid job champ. We are not on here 24/7. Report them and as soon as we get on, we can do something.

It has not helped with one particular poster abusing the hell out of the report system just to troll us, because then we have to go filter through all his crap to get to the real stuff

Played minimal football in 2 years.

From the way Cameron spoke about Scrimshaw it sounds like he would be open to trading him back to Melbourne if a reasonable deal could be done. Reading between the lines I would say they would take an early-to-mid 2nd rd pick to get it done.

Actually, I was on a plane south for most of the morning.

Just keep hitting that report button if you feel it's crossing a line or breaking a rule guys and we'll get to it as soon as we can.

North apparently gave him the full treatment. Had ex-teammates of his dad, Jack Ziebell and more give him a presentation.
Wish we had a club captain who would meet with potential recruits to help convince them to join us.....

If he doesn't want to come I'm not overly fussed - just get a kid just as good as him who wants a crack at AFL.

Even if he doesn't choose us I'd still put a cheeky bid relatively high on him to show we value him and to hopefully stuff up the other team's draft plans. Especially if North try to **** us on the Hall deal.

If we end up with a pick in the mid to late teens, I’d place a bid on him if he had already nominated Geelong or North (I really like him as a player from what I’ve seen). It would really make them think long and hard about matching as I suspect many think Bailey to be a second / third rounder. I don’t see a lot of difference between Bailey and other players in the 15-30 range. All depends I suppose on what earlier picks we have and players we choose.

Want him to choose us.
Mostly for the optics to change the narrative a bit.
Looks like he’s got some good attributes - they can be found elsewhere so not the end of the world from a personnel perspective if we get someone else instead but to have someone choose us would be small but important.

No need to include 18 my personal feeling.
Freo been desperate for a key forward for years. Will overpay for hogan

Yipers, we have been getting some negative list assessments lately.

Fair enough that we have lost some very good players in recent years, who have proven they can play AFL.

But imo, we are much better off than 2010.

Having a spread of 16 - 19 players who will be 19-23 years old next season, is a huge advantage for our new players coming in. Plus a small group of good players in the 25-30 years old bracket. New draftees won't need to play if they are not ready. And we can field the youngest team in the comp without playing a single first year player. Will help if we can hold on to Martin and TheScrim.

Most importantly, we now have excellent facilities and (finally) we are about to lead the league in spending on player development and welfare.

We are coming from a long way back, but it can work. Patience a requirement.

But worse than Fitzroy? Having been a member of that club at the time of the takeover, tell em they are dreaming.

I just read that Hogan toured Freo’s facilities today. Looking very likely it will pave the way for May to the Dees. Just seems a matter of time until the trade requests are made.

But I get the impression today Cameron will want a sweetener on top of the pick 5? Could we expect a 2019 pick as well?
