Corbett and Burgess are good pickups. Both play above their height because they have good hands and read the flight well.

Being able to kick over 50m will allow them to be a constant threat while allowing Wright to be the primary forward without interference.

With it seeming as though Carlton will get McAdam and on trade him to Adelaide who will be our last pick? Collins seemed a lock a couple of months ago but maybe not now? Pickett's another one.
Was hearing that for some reason we may not use the concessions on Pickett and just take him in the National Draft

hmm interesting. I was thinking that maybe they don't want to move states. Doesn't this run the risk of someone else picking up Pickett? I just hope we don't on trade it for picks like Carlton is doing seems pointless.

Not that it's important this time of year but our NEAFL team should look pretty good next year with the these mature bodies. Obviously injuries will have to improve but it's time we push for a reserves premiership especially if we can get someone like Andrew Swallow in a non playing role.

Still think we need more mids and small forwards.
Isn't Pickett a pacy wingman? I think we're right for inside mids (besides adding one in the draft) but need more players with pace and kicking ability. It used to be the other way around with more outside runners but with Hanley and Harbrow not having long left we need to replace them plus the losses of Saad and Hall.

Absolutely. Marking targets in our forward line have been few and far between lately with Lynch and 2MP injured. Beef up our midfield and provide a couple of more targets up front and we might pinch a few more games.

I thought Pickett used to play off a HBF but moved into the midfield as an inside / outside player this year with Tim Kelly gone. Yes apparently fast with a penetrating kick.

If you don't manage to snare McAdam I think Brett Bewley is most suited to your squad. Great athlete with a nice kick. Would be more than capable of the 2 way running that Dew wants.

Is this Tyson fella a top 22 or another bloody reserve grade cast off?
Inside mid forced out to the wing which probably didn’t suit him.
Played last 10 games and 3 finals for Melb. Bit like a Rosa replacement really. I like him
