Would they take Lukosius?

I've heard from others we'd take Walsh (and he's my preference as well). Don't think Carlton will give up pick 1 though

I guess could be a reasonable swap for KK if neither club wanted to get picks involved?

Was just catching up on some Trade radio from last week and Mathew Lloyd said on Friday's edition of the early trade at the (1:10:45) that he had spoken with someone close to Dom Tyson and they said Melbourne are trying hard to push him to the Suns but Tyson has no interest in playing for the Suns or moving up north after returning back home to Melbourne from the Giants.

Will be interesting to see if Dew can talk him around.
He would be a good pickup

After getting Miles we don't need Tyson. We're stacked for inside mids. I would hate Tyson to come in and it result in forcing Brodie out to the wing.

Not that it's important this time of year but our NEAFL team should look pretty good next year with the these mature bodies. Obviously injuries will have to improve but it's time we push for a reserves premiership especially if we can get someone like Andrew Swallow in a non playing role.

My question is, why can't we run our NEAFL team like they do in the VFL with some mature non-listed players and a scattering of academy talent that is genuinely good enough? Slight off topic, but would that not create a better learning environment for young players whilst potentially unlocking a few mature age players ourselves?

We tried that one year and the mature players quit halfway through the season. Couldn't handle the team changing so much week to week. Gave them no continuity in their own game to help the team.

That's awesome! It's good to see we've bolstered our list with some tall stocks who have bodies that are developed enough to compete in the AFL straight away.

Picking up four players in one day is a fair effort!

I have a faith in Brodie. Nobody will force him out to the wing. If we get Tyson, I would say Lyons should be worried. He did have some ankle issues but he had ordinary season. Miller and possibly Swallow could spend more time HF.

Gives the option to play Lyons up forward where he did quite well for Adelaide but not sure Dew sees it that way.

I watched a bit of West Adelaide game. Burgess looks good too. He has great kick at goal and looks like a competitor.
