Just a vent on our past failures. We need to get a fairly good debrief from the club after this particular chapter closing, just my opinion. What's the plan from the club, coach, and good to hear from a leader or 2 from the playing group.

If we chased A graders with a war chest and ended up with GHS, Miles, Ellis & Hombsch then I’d be devastated.
But we were skint and actually targeted those 4 for a reason and got them for a bag of chips.
The club knew Lynch, Hall, May, sook etc were going and had no issue with it. Martin was mentioned and the club put that fire out immediately.
I was incredibly frustrated but now accept it’s a rebuild. However we have much better starting pieces and some real talent from 2016 and this year.
I’m excited for the first time in 4 years.

May has been sulking around for months now, I loved him as a player but time for him to go

If we can draft solid citizen at 6 then this is a good result, if he's another Scrimshaw I will be furious. I will give the new admin the benefit of the doubt

At least we can see we have some sort of plan, which eases things a little. If we were just throwing picks out looking for anyone then it would be a huge devastation.
But we know we’re getting in strong characters like GHS, Miles, Hombsch while bringing in some elite talent like Lukosius, Rozee, Smith that will go with the rest of our young guys and will now be surrounded by a better group of mature players than we had the first time.
Not all doom and gloom. Just have to ignore the VIC media who wouldn’t even know who Charlie Ballard or Brayden Fiorini let alone how good they’ve been.
