Good idea , who he play for ?Paul Roos was on the Gold Coast again over the weekend watching his son play.
Think he's been up for every game so far.
Maybe we should pick up Paul's son and hope He comes with him

We can talk all day, towards the end Cameron do the trade2 Very interesting players and 2 very different players with them being at different stages in their careers
* Jacob Townsend Big Inside hard bodied tough midfielder that will certainly give 100% effort and loyal as a sheep dog, Not the most talented player going around but 100% the toughest pound for pound loyal soldier and wont take crap from softies at the club - Can Guarantee he wont be asking to leave and will do exactly what the coach asks him to do. Also plays as a mid foward that crunches the oppositions loose intercept mark player and kicks goals, Very good kick for goal.
* Shai Bolton , Skill / Class / Speed has it all this kid as per the video he can stand on a ruckmans head and land on his feet and run to goal and does the most freaky things you can imagine. Hate to see him leave but has put contract talks on hold and will wait until the season ends i suppose.
Not sure of the motives as he has Ralph Carr as his manager and if going back is his reason then its to Perth but if its money then Gold Coast would be best placed as i cant see Richmond paying him overs being a 2nd year player we usually have the newbies in similar contracts
Townsend would be a good clubman and pickup for 3-4 years - Real soldier
His kicking in the second quarter is not that good either . Even Collingwood Fan want to move him forward because of that.We are in no shape as a club to handle someone like DeGoey. That guy would be Harley 2.0. We just can't take a risk like that.
Thomas would be a good pick up IMO.
Looking great for the Pies.
400 for three years ? Anybody going for Jayden Hunt .I reckon if you pay him 400-500k would be gettable.
Phillips is the guy from Collingwood we need to chase
Throw enough money and anyone is gettable. Is he gettable? Contracted until end of 2019
At least Thomas will cost us next to nothing. Plus at 20 goals so far he would be leading our goal kicking from the midfield.
Throw enough money and anyone is gettable.
Phillips is the tom mitchell of collingwoods midfield. Sits 5th or 6th in the pecking order and has proven when given a starring role can be damaging.
I wouldn't be opposed to throwing as much as 750k a year for 5 to convince him to make a move. Will be better then lyons inpact wise and provides the run and spread we are desperate for.
Throw enough money and anyone is gettable.
Throw a high enough draft pick and even Lachie Weller was gettable - doesn't mean it's in the best interest of building a successful team
Was watching Fremantle yesterday and Cerra is looking great already.
They must be laughing away over there.
The only problem is that there is rumor he is already planning his escape back to Melbourne.
Hasn't signed the contract put in front of him at the start of the year when they extended Brayshaw.
I agree to all except degoey , you mention no where near HB, but do you want your culture to compromise by lowering your standard .What you going to do if he do silly stuff again , high wages , surely you won't drop him right .Once again draft time becomes a very important part of our present and long term future (sounds familiar).
I know we will all have varied opinions and that's the way it should be .
Most likely we lose all delist anywhere from 10 to 12 players come draft time.
For me not interested in recruiting old has beens except one similar to McVeigh or Burgoyne (as potential assis coach).
Wines great fit but not possible .
Happy to chase Dalhaus Wallis both still young enough to gives us a few good years.
For me would definitely chase DeGoey and Thomas as a package both plenty to offer.
Some risk with Degoey but no where near a HB case.
Not a B Ellis fan not worth big money and some off field risk as well.
No matter which way we go must make mid field depth absolute priority with all early picks
whether through draft or trades.
I agree there is a risk , but there are lots of things we do in life which are risky changing jobs , buying a business , buying a house ,marrying the rightI agree to all except degoey , you mention no where near HB, but do you want your culture to compromise by lowering your standard .What you going to do if he do silly stuff again , high wages , surely you won't drop him right .
