Why ? Every club rate players differently. Your pick 1-5 will be a lot different than other club . Even if GCS trade down , GC will look for club that willing to paid over , can't see Adelaide willing to give up pick 8,13,16 ,21.

Let put it this way , I won't be unhappy with going in with pick 2,3,6 ,24,29 . If nobody paying over . Why do more work for little return . You and I know don't have a crust ball who turn out to be good for each team ,nobody know about the future.

If they decide they are passing on Rankine then they should listen to enquiries from Port and Crows for pick 3 to get the best deal to maximise the value of their picks and potentially add another 1st rd pick.

Any trading of picks will be dictated by what the Suns want to do given the picks they have and where the players are ranked given the 'elite 8' tier.

Don't think its been done before.
To be honest I don't think there are more than a handful here that know much about the draftees beyond reading other peoples opinions of them.

I think we generally pay attention to some of the guys that are ranked around or picks.. or have been suggested as targets.
Correct me if I'm wrong board members but don't think anyone has their own opinions of how good or bad Will Kelly or Xavier Duursma or Chase Jones really are for example. Just what has been posted by others.

There would only be probably 10 people on bigfooty that would really know alot of these younger players and maybe another 40/50 that watch some tac or junior games

But what it does is gets things interesting during the off season and people actually read a bit about the juniors and watch some vision (youtube) and get to know the younger players

Suns say no but thank you for suggestion. We need top talent coming in ASAP not delay. Dew spent a year evaluating players.

Does anybody know if Martin was considering to move on and Suns shut it down or was it just Essendon? He would be probably the only player I have doubts about extending his contract. Is he still away? I can't see him in training videos. For sure he would command top 10 pick.

I keep reading all the suggestions for pick swaps but then look back at 2,3,6 and think Lukosius, Rozee and Caldwell, and think we’d be very happy with that haul. The only way I’d consider changing or trading back picks would be if we still think we could get these three and manage to also draft O’Halloran, who I have a stronger and stronger feeling might be gone before our next pick at #24 going by a lot of the phantoms I’ve read.

TBH I went to toilet did some Busting during that time and wrongly read your post that are from Kristof , I am not some genius but a human that had some need , so I did a fast reply. .I am just a nobody telling people off that I prefer to keep pick 2,3,6 rather than change it everytime a new name came out .

The funniest thing about the Shiel deal was they actually had to get Dodo out of the room to finalise the deal.

Don't know whether GWS had had enough of him by then or he wasn't man enough to swallow his pride and take the L himself.

Send him to the draft rather than take a 2nd rd pick.

Hoping that having Harbs as a positive influence and having negative influences out of the club that he will buy in to being with an extremely tight knit club.
