Hutchy says on footy classified get may to commit this year if he can’t commit then trade him instead of dragging it on next year when free agency rules change

Yeah I agree with Hutchy.
show the young players you are committed show them leadership

Kane Cornes counter argued saying no point because need to keep some senior players in around the kids
To be honest I am not too worried about May , if GC play better next year he will sign extension , telling him to commit now is like treating Lynch and May differently.

Jake Lloyd....Get HIM!
Dew wants to make the Suns a family club might as well get all 3 Lloyd brothers.

Matty Lloyd the tall one on the left is draft eligible this year.
would be a great replacement for harbrow when he retires in a few years.
Playing off halfback in the TAC cub last year he was averaging 23 disposals, six marks and eight rebound 50s per outing, with an efficiency of 86.9 per cent by foot. His best game came against the Calder Cannons in Round 4, winning 32 disposals (kicking efficiency of 91.3 per cent), 11 marks and 14 rebound 50s.

Then get Mav weller, jake kolodjashnij and the king twins IMG_1969.JPG

Is this based on Hutchy's extensive experience in club land

You keep May, try to sign him to an extension, if he leaves next year then you have the option of FA compo or you trade him

I agree, but we should have done the same with lynch at the end of last season - would have saved a media circus around him this year and we could be truly rebuilding under May as solo captain

I actually like this. We don’t need a 3rd year where it’s all about one player especially the Captain and all the drama that goes with it.
Offer May a generous extension now and if he doesn’t sign move him on too.

I get that but Swallow ,Thompson is a RFA too , you can't just paid too much and neglected the other two , why rush now , are GC not confident they can produce result after one year , I don't get that people complained about Victoria media and then when they suggested something everybody jumped on it again . Why May need to be make an example because of Lynch mistake by the previous management .

Vic country at the bottom don't help either. Anyway Jake Llyod get pick in rookie draft also , so I am not surprised his brother is not that good or highly rated in U 18 .
I hope Dew mean family club is not like getting all the brother in one club .

You can see the pain in Dew's eyes at every post game presser when he talks about our inability to keep possession. Anyone that can actually kick the ball well is half a chance.

And Caro stating no one cares about us. If no one cares about us why are they always talking about us.
She's another person who has lived in an AFL bubble town all her life.
She should come to the Coast for some R&R she's looks very tired and worn out.
Bodsy would show her around our beautiful City. She might catch some Vitamin D and see 60 km of some of the best coastline on the planet . She might not even want to go back to the grey concrete jungle.

I used to have so much respect for her as she has courage BUT for some reason she’s been a Richmond Cheerleader in recent times and what really surprises me is she’s taking a populist position in regards to us.
Caro If you read this PM me and me and my beautiful wife will respectfully show you around the Beautiful City as well as demonstrate the amazing development of the game at junior level so you are both refreshed to go back to Bitter Melbourne and have some perspective on reality.

Funnily enough she and the others had a crack at Gil and the other afl executives for not spending any time on the Gold Coast.. they were questioning when was the last time Gil or any of the others had been up

Just to help you out as to why she is a Richmond cheerleader. Not that you probably care, but simply to inform, she is the daughter of Ian Wilson, who was president of Richmond for over 10 years. She grew up in and around the club during our power years (70s and early 80s).
She does like to bash us from time to time, but you can imagine where her heart is.

Thanks and I do care and I reckon over the years she’s been able to separate her job from her Richmond support...I respect her.
It’s just in the last year or two she’s been not the same and her bias is coming through more clearly and openly.

In a way she is a fair weather supporter ,if Richmond finish 13 she will bash Richmond , if Richmond win a flag she will come out as closet supporter , how convenient.
