David king said on AFL360 tonight that the AFL need to give the Suns a priority picks no matter what happens with Lynch.

I agree with him.
Brisbane got one last year so think we should get one this year.
It would definitely speed up the rebuild

Not forgetting the points 17er made last night on the podcast

I’ve heard Terry Wallace for years talk about how the AFL Pets GWS had two cracks at the draft whereas we had only one.

It’s a scandal. Rather than be slimebags and try and crack onto young chicks at work all those amazing genius blokes in positions of responsibility at AFL House need to grow a pair and address it.

While we rebuild I'd prefer 3-4 extra list spots and an extra $1 mil in salary cap for 2 years.
Hit the draft for young talent and while they develop bring in players of the calibre of Miles, Lloyd, Dahlhaus, Wallis, Newman etc with those spots and extra cash.

In our 5th season we were AFL standard with list numbers and salary cap.
In GWS' 5th season they were allowed 46 on their senior list and an extra 760K to spend on it.
Originally they weren't going to be the AFL standard cap and list size until next year but was brought forward 2 years.

Seems to be a few more whispers coming out of Victoria about jack scrimshaw potentially requesting a trade home to Vic. Heard it mentioned on the radio this morning and some Tom Morris bloke is going with it on Twitter as well

Depend on how GC academy guy perform in U18 , if he don't want to be here let him go .

Good to know Tom Morris is on bigfooty.

It was just a rumour started by Andrew Hamilton on his podcast to try and get it noticed it backfired and he sent out an apology on twitter

Yea I heard Hamilton mention it and saw his apology earlier in the week. Was more suprised it’s getting any legs with the Vic media that was all. I’m hoping Scrim breaks into the team in the next few weeks and shows us what he can do

With Hanley, KK and May all out injured, you'd think he'd be getting a look in. Dew isn't scared to blood youth.

He didn’t apologise for the rumour though just how they spoke about him. Hamo still thinks he’s leaving

Just replace him with Greenwool next year , all this top 10 draft pick always create problem for the club .

Greenwool? Completely different players and old Fitzroy isn't a lock to make AFL anyway
Just too much hazard with players don't want to play for GC , why spend time develop them and paid them up .There is no guarantee Scrimshaw will make it with Victoria club , look at Carlton Kristian Jaksch delisted , Blaine Boekhorst delisted , jarood garlett? , Jarrod Pickett ? First round draft pick is a number if they don't want to play for your club .

To me if Scrimshaw wants to leave at the end of the year it would be a disaster for the Suns.
Whether he makes it or not is almost irrelevant ,why he wants to leave is the important question here.
How do we grow as a club if we continually lose players particularly young players who have been here five
minutes.
We are either making terrible draft choices or our culture is so poor players cannot be convinced to
stay for the long haul which is a massive concern.
If the recruiting officers cannot get some of these early draft picks right then we are in massive trouble.
Ive got great respect for Mark Evans (known him for a long time) but he will never get a bigger challenge
in his working life than making the Suns a highly competitive team.
I sincerely hope he can.
(Hope this rumour is just bs)

Greenwool is a firecracker, but the Suns can keep him in the Academy another year as a top ager and then recruit him in 2019. Unless he really starts to get noticed and another club bids for him this year and we match it with a late pick. The risk is the Rookie Draft, but you'd hope that even then his agent comes to the Club with inside info about who has sounded the player out.

He will play, but you also have to admit that Dew has inherited a list full of Half Back Flankers and that is what puts Scrimshaw so far down the list (as I pointed out to "Hammo" on Twitter). Wait until he's ready to play up the guts and he'll show the Vic media goons why we waited to blood him.

That's right. He apologised for being unprepared for the podcast, though he's still sticking to the opinion that Scrimshaw must be selected or else he'll leave.

Sorry to comment bomb, but this is relevant. Has anyone got the Allies team list? I heard there's 5 Suns players but can't find it anywhere. Names I have are Caleb Graham, Dirk Koenen and Ryan Gilmore. I imagine Bailey Scott and Lachlan McDonald have also been named. Confirmation?

He will come in Vs St Kilda if he perform in NeAfl and avoid injuries, I think Risca /ballard all due for a rest . No point throw him in Vs GWS in AFL .
