How stupid is it to give up a fourth rounder ( for Port list cloggesr) to filled a list spot ( delisted canoon, traded ablett , Saad ) and then left without list spot for multiple second Rounder and use that as an excuses to trade second Round to Eagles .
Quality player like impey cost you second Round . ( Pick 33) .Even Port know that

I can't believe people think that given up multiple pick 20-38 including a future second round and use the vacant list spot for Young was a good thing .
Quality player like impey ? :drunk:

Quality player like Impey? you kidding right? on displayed form at end of last year i would have said there was little to no difference between Impey and Young. neither were really established 'Quality Players'. Their pre-2018 stats are pretty comparable, the only reason Impey would have cost more is he was only 22, while Young was 24/5? Impey has improved markedly this year, if you only take into consideration stats. (I haven't watched many Hawks games)

In my opinion we paid about the right amount, Hawthorn paid a little too much.
You already have your own answer , on display form 0 meara worth nothing because of injuries but due to his age and potential he worth more . Having two or three pre season than Impey , Young should had the experience , endurance to do better than Impey and not equal .

Watched a few Hawthorn games this year now I reckon Impey is pretty much the same as he was at Port perhaps his kicking seems a bit better, so pretty much a lowish stat player with some tricks who applies nice pressure.. not even having a go at him his best is good I just think the "Recruit of the year" Hawthorn mayo has been added liberally.

Is Sloane from Melbourne or Vic Country?
Don't know but does anyone else find this a bit fishy.

very convenient there is no salary cap in the vflw

Looks like clubs have found a new salary cap loophole

I could be wrong but I’m close to certain that I read somewhere that she’s never played a game of Footy.
Now that’s beyond fishy and downright smells.

Apparently she has been given the use of 3 Jeeps for her family and friends. The Tigers really like her potential for their AFLW team ...

Hi ladies and gents. May I ask what the story is with young Will Brodie and why he isn’t playing much in the firsts?

That's a really good question, he seems to be performing well in the NEAFL. The only thing I can think of is potentially a rift with Dew? Hopefully he'll get a shot at seniors soon.

Hi ladies and gents. May I ask what the story is with young Will Brodie and why he isn’t playing much in the firsts?
It is due to player management. He struggles to play out games and is among a group of younger players who are exhausted by the travel schedule. Last thing the club needs is young players who can't finish games playing in the AFL side. He'll play more games this year, but unlikely to be able to suddenly improve so much that he's first choice Top 22 every week. He's already missed whole rounds of footy due to soreness. Given that he's only halfway into his 2nd year, this is sound selection policy on a player who will be a gun in a couple of years. Guys like Bowes and Scheer are slightly ahead of him because they had a couple of seasons of NEAFL cameos before being drafted. Academy players are definitely more AFL ready earlier, which has been a boon for us in a situation where only 31 listed players are fit for selection this week.

I doubt he’s going anywhere, it just seemed strange that north were linked to him.
That’s just writing for the hell of it.
Dom Tyson out of favour, linked to every club..

They linked three inside mids to north with average to poor disposal, just for something different from the last 15 years.

He's welcome down here :-)
