I wonder if there's any chance Cyril might look at us if and when he thinks about AFL again?
Obviously doesn't need the Victorian "experience" like a lot of our disloyal refugees
I feel like there's a link between us and the NT in someways
Is so what we need IMO

You could argue the Suns is as close as you can get without actually being out of it!;)
I agree , but Suns medical and Conditioning will totally damage his fragile hamstring :D.

Yeah correct, northern end.

Grew up in Sydney, came here in my late teens, worked around in different places here and there for a bit to build my career.
Took a demotion to come back to the GC, do not have one regret. Would never have been able to live on the beach in Sydney no matter how well my career went and I have many free hours for relaxation, enjoying hobbies, time with family/friends and being a tool on the Suns BF Forum and the Titans Forum.
Something I would never have gotten if I pursued climbing the greasy pole in the capital cities.

Free advice to take or leave. I don’t know your circumstances.

You have to remember that this team has been strong enough in training for Barlow to miss out on selection until he was picked and played poorly. Brodie got a chance too and lost his spot due to poor footy. .

i cant understand why Suns supporters would be screaming for Barlow to get called up? I realise the big numbers he was putting up in the NEAFL but you only had to watch him in his AFL games to see that he was finished.

of course Brodie is going to play poor footy. he's a kid. but you have to get him a block of games to let him learn. bringing him up and down like a yo-yo is not going to help his development and will likely result in poor confidence.

To be honest , Brodie was poor against Geelong and GWS , if he can't get the ball in AFL like in NeAFL , then is his application rather than his poor confidence the problem . In saying that Young and Sexton hardly get more that 20+ disposal in AFL also .

Whats the opinion on this kid do you think he will be on the trade table or will make it ?
Always kept an interest in him due to the pick that was traded for prestia most had Brodie pencilled into come to Richmond will that pick

IMO , If he want to had it easy ,maybe exchange with Jacob weithering is not too bad with pick swap in the lower end . I just think Miller , Lyons , Swallow,Florini are way ahead of him as inside mid at the moment .Bowes ,Schrimshaw and KK type at least can play multiple position and more flexible .

May ( RFA next year )
Thompson ( 28 next year )

Crisp and Brodie in middle look good for Blues

May, Weithering /Thompson look good for for Sun in the backline too .

Lions and Suns players need confidence and wins on the board, not worrying about draft position. The media is calling today the Lukosius Cup and certainly Carlton losing will isolate them at the bottom of the table. The Lions may climb above the Suns for a few weeks (or a day) but the real challenge will be Round 22 Q-Clash.

I change my mind , don't want Weithering and keep Brodie . Back men Jack Watts .

Why would you ever really want Weitering over Brodie. Our KPD are pretty solid but we have the worst midfield in the competition. Not to mention Weitering has gotten worse every year since joining the AFL
Because I thought GC will be drafting both Walsh and Smith , slot them straight in to play AFL like mcclugae ,Berry and Witherden. Brodie will be surplus requirements .

Apart from May and Thompson who can play Tall , Leslie ? He is not getting any younger and look a bit lost when he is in best 22.

he seems to have lost his way.
That's why I don't want to fall any lower then pick 2 this year.
Some player just struggled to much with the pick 1 tag

I would be much happier to have pick 2 as opposed to pick 3. Pick 1 or pick 2 doesn't really phase me as you either end up with Lukosius who is a better fit up forward with 2MP or Walsh who is the type of mid we need to add, and has leadership and not much of a flight risk from reports. Happy to take whoever is left of those 2.

Think the drop off from 2 to 3 is pretty big if your not into Rankine's attitude or the King brothers.

Mark my words "Brodie will be next Josh Kennedy in 2-3 years" It would be stupid to trade him unless he wants to leave. He just takes time to develop. One more year and he's almost there.

Actually Leslie looked his last 2 games pretty good, progressing with consecutive games.
