That's fine, They can have Scrimshaw, Hall and a pick for Patty Cripps. ;)

Step 1: Get pick 1...
Step 2: on trade to Adelaide who are desperate for Lukosius, get 2 first rounders plus a best 22 player
Step 3:?????
Step 4: premiership

Getting draft picks has always been the Suns great strength.

Finding mature players who want to come North..
different story

We should steal Curnow as a GAGF gesture to the Blies

Hence why we 100% should hold Brodie and Scrim to their contracts. We don't need more draftees. We need the draftee's we have to develop

Story on Joyce's younger brother:

COREY Joyce has ambitions to follow brother Jesse into the AFL and the talented teenager already has one up on his older sibling.

Joyce, 17, made his senior QAFL debut for Palm Beach Currumbin in the club’s 13.7 (85) to 9.13 (67) win over Broadbeach at Salk Oval on Saturday in another learning experience for the Gold Coast Suns academy player.

Jesse made his Lions debut at the age of 16 but lost to Mt Gravatt.

The Suns defender, now 20, was on hand to present Corey with his guernsey before Saturday’s game and has formed the inspiration behind his younger brother’s push to follow in his footsteps.

“It was really surreal,” Joyce said of his debut.

“I never really thought I’d be playing seniors at this club this year after coming from Coolangatta last year.

“It was pretty incredible. I idolise Jesse in a sense. He is driving me to be better. He is my brother and I don’t want to be in his shadow. I like to think I have a bit more pace than him but we have some similarities.”

Among those similarities is an elite kick, according to Palm Beach Currumbin coach Chad Owens who has now mentored both brothers.

“This kid can play,” Owens said.

“His skills are as good as his brother’s and they are both elite kicks.
“He is a backman but we played him at forward. He has to learn more roles if he wants to go to the next level.

“He was good early (against Broadbeach) and then his light body exposed him. He is a smart kid and kept getting into good spots but at this stage his lack of body strength meant he got bumped off the ball too easy.”
Would love to see both Corey Joyce and Ashton Crossley picked up by us next year. Two sets of siblings on the same list would be an interesting dynamic.

Is there anyone in Adelaide who realistically interests GCS?

Great news about Swallow but looks like Ralphy got the rest of his news from bigfooty.

Suns star David Swallow has quashed rival interest, with his brother Andrew moving to the Gold Coast as the Suns midfielder builds a new house with his wife.

Sydney defender Nic Newman is the latest Swans player to be linked to the Suns after star half back Jake Lloyd.

Newman, 25, has played only six games for the Swans this year after 20 last year and has links with former Swans assistant Stuart Dew.

If Scrimshaw hasn’t got a game by now then he’s either a massive bust, he has attitude issues, is lazy or Dew thinks /knows he’s leaving and won’t play him.
Yes he’s building, yes he’s a project player, yes he’s building his tank but he’s in the NEAFL and we are playing some boys who aren’t close to being ready ahead of him.
It’s a mystery.

Players generally sacrifice coin for success. Some Bulldogs and Richmond players have ticked that box and may want some good $$$ and make the move.

Matt Crouch and that's about it.

You couldn't convince anyone to come that would warrant a top 3 pick.

If we are going full rebuild even less chance that we are offloading such a high pick.

It’s a mystery.

It's baffling that he has great first halves in the NEAFL and then goes completely missing.

Dew would know by now if he has the goods - happy for him to make the call if he can recover some sort of reasonable value and use the list spot on someone who can offer more.
