feel like 'trade home' for martin is not a possibility. Requesting a move to Perth to be closer to home (Broome) is like asking for a trade to the Gold Coast to be closer to Melbourne

Hamling ( Former Bulldog player ) is from Broome . That is what he said when he request to be trade home.

I wonder if this is why Jack made a few trips to Sydney this year maybe the swans are into him :think:

Jacks another player that has been fractured with Dew about not having a set position.
He's wants be a forward maybe Sydney have offered him a spot next to buddy

quick to throw blame on dew from a baseless statement from a journo.

imagine how pissed off other teams would be with our draft hand if all this happened

pick 2, Pick 3 (i assume we would get a start of first round priority if both captains + Martin left), Pick 4 (Lynch compo), Pick 7(martin to fremantle), I imagine May would want to go somewhere like Sydney for success so probably Pick 15.

Back in May, Martin said that he told Dew he wanted to play forward but I'm sure every player discusses their game with the coach at some stage.

6 weeks ago on July 11 he said.

The West Australian product has been among Gold Coast’s best in 2018 and he praised the influence of new coach Stuart Dew.

“He has been fantastic since he came to the footy club,” Martin said.

“He is massive on family and he has driven that from day one. He is staying up beat and that is the type of person he is.

“He is keeping everyone engaged and is really connected to the group.”

Their relationship doesn't appear too fractured.

It's the silly season mate I love this time of the year.

But yeah by glass is now empty it tipped over and smashed mid year on Dew.
Atm I just can't get a good read on him.
He's meant to be a relationship building guy I've seen none of that.
On Barlow I'm a big fan he should of been playing all year everyone in the team looks up to him.
Dew missed a huge opportunity to utilize him in the media to sell the Suns new message.

And Scrimshaw should of been playing all year in rischitelli place another mistake by the coaches.

I'll move on and give it a rest for now if it's getting annoying sorry.

Always love seeing criticism of our club from our posters because usually it's solid insight but lets throw some positives in there occasionally too. we get shit on enough by external media to have to deal with it internally as well.

Dew I think has had a really good 'relationship' work with majority of our younger guys and I think that's why a lot of them started to come on this year. Someone said mid year the older guys said he was just 'another coach' whereas the younger guys were raving about him - which is the way it should be right now, we're in a rebuild.
He provided a lot of development work particularly to Fiorini, Brodie, Bowes, Ainsworth, Joyce, Wright, Powell, Ballard and Scheer this year and as much as we'd all love Scrim to be playing (I've been advocating it for like two years) it's better off trusting the guys who see's all the footage, knows the ins and outs of the club and has a true gauge on where players are at, to do their job. Scrim will be a real weapon for us. just give him one more pre-season.

I don't mind Billing he already got the mature body, no need to spend 2 years time playing in NEAFL for development .

To me personally Martin said he was loving dew’s change in the coaching said he is way better than rocket. He might of just been saying that but he seemed pretty sure of it
 
Again, I am happy to go around and ask everyone at the club that is contracted till next year if they are willing to recommit. If it isn't the case move them on for the best deal and get a full group that want to be here out there.

Not saying Martin or May are or aren't committed, just a general statement.
