Dees fan trying to come up with some packages for the west coast pick so we can get Ed Langdon.

Would the Suns take Dom Tyson, Billy Stretch and Alex Neal Bullen and a third round pick for pick 17? Stretch is known as one of the hardest trainers in the league and helped Oliver gain fitness before his breakout 2017 season, Tyson is still a solid midfielder and his clearance work would make him a good chance to slot into your midfield, and ANB is also a super hard worker who can kick goals.

If that doesn’t seem right, how far off is it? Dees will delist 3-5 players so we can’t afford to gut our depth, and it’d be pretty myopic to give up Harmes or Weideman to get Weideman across the line. But I think getting Stretch and Nibbler, in addition to Holman Young Wigg etc. gives you a decent core group of 22-25 year olds that work super hard and can help establish that culture at the Suns along with the likes of Miller, Witts etc.

Interested to know Suns’ fans thoughts, a similar package from Richmond could be Butler/Miles/Mcintosh I guess which would give you a long term forward pocket option in Butler

I would probably take that deal if thats where West Coast do end up... don’t want to give up anything higher. Problem is list spots thus far 1 spot is open

You can’t package ordinary players to get a decent pick. Doesn’t work like that

I think theres a few options we have right now in regards to mature player we can get but I feel as though though the club is going to hold onto our first round picks. Dom Tyson + ANB/Stretch for an early second could be a good trade imo. otherwise I think we're likely to get most of our matures as a DFA or late draft picks.

Just a heads up though, Ed Langdon plays for Fremantle

I'm told definitely more delistings coming

There would have to be... Lynch, Rosa and Barlow are just direct swaps for the 3 players that are required to be drafted in the afl draft.

I’m interested in whether we are going to delist some players with the intention of picking them up in the rookie draft. For example KK

Yeah I know he wants to return home apparently.

An early second would also be fine, if you guys have that top 25 pick.

Sorry l have no names

bit surprised at the jaska delisting, only lasted a year.
barlow i think we all saw coming. as unfortunate as it is, i'm gonna have to trust the club has made the right choice long term. i highly doubt the club will ever publicly state why they chose not to play him or keep him on (could be a youth policy for our midfielders coming through?).
never really thought willis seemed up to the level so was expecting that, and a little disappointed that maxy is gone. would have been good to keep the local fella on our list, perhaps they were hoping he'd grow in height a bit more?

Feel like Nibbler especially doesn’t deserve that.

If I replaced him with Petracca in the deal would you cough up your first round pick? Chances are most would seeing Petracca’s name there. Nibbler has been one of Melbourne’s most consistent for two years.

What’s he worth on his own but?

Well Nibbler kicks a goal a game averaging around 18 touches. Compared to Josh Caddy that’s not far off. Obviously Caddy has the early pick inflation at geelong but even then I’d put ANB as a late second rounder at the least.

Couple that with Tyson who is at least a third rounder( and possibly Stretch as a throw in but could be the most valuable due to his work ethic around the club) and another third rounder to get Sam Collins and I don’t think it’s that far off the mark for an end of first round pick.

If you’re going off draft points there’s no way you don’t make a 200 point profit minimum if you objectively rate Nibbler and Tyson as worth pick 40

I think KK would have some value at the trade table and I think that's where he could be headed. He's never been the same for us since his head knocks / neck issues but could be a good player at a club who could get his body right.

Just my thoughts , apart from he is local what skill stand up for Spencer . Is he better or flexible in other role than Ballard , KK .

I’d be more in on Anb and stretch.

We have a few dom Tyson’s already.

Would definitely be interested in those pair.

Better off offering two third picks for both and keeping the end of first round

ANB not a bad player at all IMO. Solid body and skills from what I've seen. Would replace Sean Lemmens in our F50 in an instant... except that Seany has nude pics of Dewey.

neither ballard or kk are key position defenders. it seemed like they were trying to mould spencer into a kpd, but may be too undersized. i think he had a decent kick, but haven't really heard much about how he was going this year besides the few games where he got a gig.

You know I can’t really argue with that point. The Suns would prefer to offer two third rounders. That being said, two third rounders wouldn’t get the deal over the line. It’s not rare you get a best 22 player on a good team for a third rounder. For example I think Dan Butler would easily fetch a second rounder from most teams. I don’t think ANB is inferior at all to him.

I understand what you’re saying. Just need to get the best we can with the picks we have, we have limited spots and a lot of picks coming our way

No surprise with the delistings. If we want to be getting players in we have to left some go. I would add lemmens and schoenfeld but obviously won’t happen. So 6 gone so far. Add hall that’s 7. Probably a few not out of the woods like Leslie but I guess that depends on what happens with May
