Cam Ellis-Yolmen has reportedly just requested a trade. Destination is reported to be Sydney.
Brad Crouch also apparently leaving ADL
Gee if that's true Adelaide are having as bad a problem retaining players as we are. Something obviously not right at the Crows.

2010: Nathan Bock
2011: Phil Davis, Jack Gunston, Ivan Maric
2012: Kurt Tippett
2013: Bernie Vince
2014:
2015: Patrick Dangerfield
2016: Jarryd Lyons
2017: Jake Lever, Charlie Cameron
2018: Cam Ellis-Yolmen, Mitch McGovern, Brad Crouch

So boring today any News ? I take BS Post as well .
From what I’ve heard regarding leaving and coming in, Brodie rumours seem to be bs, scrimshaw might leave, hall, lynch 100% gone but everyone has known that for months, may likely to leave also, swallow could end up back in wa along with Martin either this year or the next. GHS, Casboult and Lloyd are being seriously looked at even though the suns don’t want to go chasing a star player this off season, potentially someone like miles, Wallis, S.Lloyd are players that might be looked at as well as state league players.

A lot of this information sounds like you've been reading too much Bigfooty fan fiction.

Just a bit lol, odds are we will end up with GHS, Casboult and some other player that can’t get a game in the seniors and probably just lose Hall and Lynch this season, possibly May if he refuses to commit to another contract. Lloyd will just use the suns to get more money from swans in a contract

Good summary .

I really doubt we bother with GHS. Has proven time and time again he struggles with the pace at AFL level. Will be 26 next year.
Casboult I could see us taking as a stopgap while Lukosius (if we take him as expected) develops - maybe playing 50% of games over the next 2 seasons but still doubtful we get him imo.
Suns already stated we aren't chasing Lloyd or any big names anymore
Swallow has already made several media statements saying that he's keen to sign an extension in the off season and doesn't want to move.
Scrim I highly doubt leaves after Spencer got the chop and Rischitelli 'De-listed' (even if he is rookied again) + he's probably one of our most talented youngsters

The AFL players we'll probably look at i'd assume would be the likes of Townsend, Wallis, S.Lloyd but have already stated interest in WAFL player Marlon Pickett and VFL player Sam Collins

Wouldn't mind him as a rookie - what's the go with him. Big wraps in draft year but hasn't gotten a look in since?
Smashes it at NEAFL level, but has never go a run in the middle with the seniors. Was drafted with Mathieson in 2015, then Berry and McCluggage drafted in 2016, and Rayner and Bailey drafted in 2017, all playing midfield. Just got stuck behind all our other young mids. Has been played as small forward and on the wing, but just doesn't have the pace for either position.

If we're adding Neale and Mitch Wallis this free agent and trade period, can see Ben looking for opportunities elsewhere.

It’s honestly depressing to think we could have had the best forward line in the league if the player in it hadn’t of left and weren’t injured. Dixon, Lynch, Bennell, Matera, Martin and Caddy with the likes of Ablett, Prestia and O’ Meara feeding them the ball.

My BS news ,GC will try to get Koenan and Graham as Rookie A or B ,or else will let them go to another club if the 40 senior spots are filled in ND draft .

As long as we don’t pick up Josh Williams I don’t mind what happens off season wise, still pretty disappointed about drafting Powell last season as he doesn’t seem to have a body ready for afl but he’s proved himself, still wasn’t worth pick 19 though, just like the Weller trade.

Weller trade I hope they will learn from it , to be honest I though Is an OK trade consider Weller playing 20+ AFL games without any injuries , Ballard gaining some AFL experience and look good enough to cover injuries .( KK, Sam Day , May)

Agreed on Ballard, very good pickup and hopefully will play for the club for a while. Got to love Goobs though, at least he won’t leave.

Rate him higher than Mathieson based on his ability to find the ball and goal sense so i'd be happy to pick him up personally but not if it cost us anything at the draft table

Exactly, on paper his stats might not be amazing but he does a great job and seems as though he can play anywhere on the ground but seems best as a defender.
Think he'll play his best football in the middle. sticky hands and played mid as a junior, just needs to build the muscle. Fyfe mould

His kicking is also a major flaw right
Finishing around goal was awful even in the NEAFL from what I saw

Although having a look on footywire his DE isn't as bad as I thought ~73% last year.

Nightmare had Ballard going at pick 19 in his final mock draft last year
His assessment
"Late-blooming, tall wingman with scope to develop into a key forward. Possess good skills, composure, mobility and is a strong overhead mark."

Agree with all of it - although unsure on the key forward component.
honestly would have been happy if we'd taken Ballard with 19. Huge find

Brad Crouch also apparently leaving ADL

What the hell is happening at the crows (if all of this is true)

Time to fold them and send the team to Tasmania I think.

As it stands we would be struggling. Most of our forward line would currently be on the injury list.

I reckon you'll end up with 2, 3 (Lynch), 12 (to be traded PP), 15, 26, 29, 38 and 41 (the last four picks probably dropping due to PPs).

We'll have 8, 11 (McGovern), 14, 22, 26 (McGovern), and 39.

Two questions.

Would you want to trade some of those picks into 2019, so you don't have quite so many picks all in one year? It's a challenge to develop so many kids simultaneously.

And what would it take to get pick 2 or 3, so we can get Lukosius?

LOL. Crouch isn't leaving. We just re-signed every uncontracted player we had.

Admittedly, having contracted players being offered more cash by other teams seems to be an increasing problem ...
