I know this is a long shot but would the Suns accept..

Dom Tyson, 2019 1st round pick, pick 33, pick 45, another pick in the 40s (what we get for Kent)

For

Steven May and Kade Kolodjashnij

Mate, you are 100% correct......................it's a long shot..............and it won't happen.

So go away, have a, look at both lists, take off your Demons tinted glasses, and if you come back to OUR board again, then come back with something that benefits us....after all, this is OUR board.
OR....stay on your board and sprout as much bullsh*t as you want to.

Hey all
Sorry for jumping into your thread but heard from family that have small connections to Gold Coast that you will target unexpected players in the trade period
Very aggressive at going after other clubs top players

That’s interesting.
Doesn’t seem to gel with what the coaches have said - essentially ruled out going for big names this year.

Come on mate. Give us a clue as to who some of these "top players" might be that you've heard rumours about.

As you said, it's probably not true but we're on the eve of the silly season so I'm willing to indulge you.

I heard these big players are Levi Casaboult, Anthony Miles, Corey Ellis to name a few

Nice smile, ugly tie.
Probs his dads tie, An insight into what kind of player he could be - No flash, all substance?

Like the ugly girlfriend theory from Moneyball but not exactly.

I don't know much about Collins other than he is a key backman. Is he the intercepting marking kind? Or is he more your lockdown like Rory Thompson?
May lite , agility is his weaknesses.

So will he get turned inside out by forwards at AFL level?
If he play intercepted defender then he is ok , a bit like Eagles McGovern , put a soft tag and kick the ball flat and low he will be less effective, but he might improve his agility with Weribee .

Kinda really shits me.....Every opposition supporters bag the f&%k out of us but their Clubs want all our players!!??
Then try to sell their fringe players as guns who just don’t get an opportunity.

Why aren't we going for Neale he's exactly the type we need and he's thinking LIONS.
We should have beaten them with half a side out injured.

Played as a lock-down defender for Fremantle so was maybe utilised incorrectly. Interesting to see how he goes next year.

Getting rid of Kolodjashnij is just stupid. Either his neck is now fixed and he will get back to the form that had him projecting as one of the preeminent rebounding defenders in the comp, or it's no good and Melbourne will identify that during the medical and value him as a 4th/5th rounder hail mary pick.

If they trade high for him, watch for him to regain his form and make the club look stupid. Good players always re-find form if their body allows.

Also, Dew saying in an interview a couple of weeks ago that Barlow couldn't get a game because he could only play inside mid, and they wanted players who could play multiple roles, then followed it up by identifying Miles and Horlin-Smith as two players from other clubs who could offer that.

Miles is slow and one-dimensional and Horlin-Smith is literally the slowest mid-sized player I have seen playing at AFL level in the last few years, and without any standout attributes, cannot see how he could play a position other than inside mid effectively either.

Interesting times.
