Horrific awful news. The hits keep coming and this decision reflects terribly on Dew, Evans and Co.
Local kid, developed in our 4 walls and they can’t get him to want to be here representing his hometown.
Just disgraceful.
And in a few weeks the club will want to direct debit a couple of thousand dollars from my account.
I didn’t get my way with Lynch either-we rolled over. Why the frig are we having to pay something for the 2 Richmond cast offs? A swap of 3rd round picks will cost us about 15-17 places in the draft. They get maybe pick 39-41 and we languish in the early 50s.

It’s so disappointing. How can this club build memberships and enthuse kids to want to support this while we continue on this doormat trajectory??

The people of the GC deserve a much better start up from both the AFL and the Suns administrations.

The club is going in a complete different direction from previous years and thats why ive got renewed faith this year.
This is the 1st year the new management have full control over list management and with new staff and policies being implemented to improve the clubs deficient areas.
I clear stance the club is making in trades this year is experienced players that have had to work hard to justify any game if AFL they have played. These blokes also are regarded as having good characteristics, professionalism, work ethic and all around good blokes.
Bring more of these guys in and teach the young stars how to live like a footballer.

Thats why the results so far are encouraging.

Scott said only the other day he was going to give it a few weeks before giving clubs his decision. Obviously he’s not a man of his word. Disappointing.

On the flip side, happy with the Miles / Ellis trade.

That is what he wanted to do, however, it wasn't realistic. Clubs need to know as early as possible during trade week to ensure they have the picks/points to get to his preferred destination. I am pretty sure all three clubs pushed him to make a decision after he made that statement.

It was reported that Adelaide want McAdam to be part of any deal with Carlton involving McGovern.
Whether that's right or not. Also means he would be able to stay in Adelaide with his mentor Marty Mattner who just joined Adelaide as an assistant.

I don't really mind not getting him , basically he is a free agent , all up to him to choose between GC or Carlton .Next target hopefully Rozee SANFL teammate. Multi position player.

Yeah probably right. Although I think his mind was already made up, whereas he kind of intimated that he hadn’t made a decision yet.
