No and because 99% of the media is VIC and are just guessing or ignoring what the club has said.

I actually think this is a bit unfair. Technically he doesn't even have a decision to make right now, he's contracted and all we've heard is he is seeing what his options are. For all we know he's perfectly content finishing his contract with us and seeing how we're travelling next year which his manager and Cameron have both alluded to during their time on trade radio.

His manager said his next contract would be a large one so no more one or two year small deals. if you're committing somewhere for 5+ years, you'd hope you've done your due diligence.

If he was out of contract, then i'd agree but him not saying anything publicly isn't a bad thing. he's not required to sign anything this year

He should step down as captain.

196 cms, intercept marks, kicking efficiency is 78%, country NSW kid.
Any interest on here for him?

Either Finlayson or Hombsch would help stiffen up our KPD posts, particularly with Rory being injury prone, May possibly out the door.

If May stays i don't know how he can fit in every week. Thompson had an outstanding season and i can't see them playing all together. It would mean that Leslie is cut though.

Fair Enough , I would though pick 40/44 are fair value for him but GC trade them away to Brisbane, now a lot depend on KK , Hall trade if GC want to keep Scrimshaw and Get him.

Kk should be twice as valuable as hombsch for mine

40 or higher is very poor for port. We would have to replace him as we have 0 tall defenders on the list after him and even a barely AFL list standard quality player will cost us that in a trade from elsewhere. Ie brand from hawks would cost more than that to replace him.

Would you trade a 25 yr old key defender who will be first 22 for pick 40+ knowing you have zero behind them and have to recruit a replacement? What does his replacement cost? How good are they?

Whats he like with ball in hand?
If he has some attacking / rebound ability would be nice.

Rory and May better players and obviously first picked.

Rory very cautious and safe by foot. Doesn’t start much rebound.

Hombsch would allow May to be a loose interceptor which I think he is very good at.

So if we wanted to go in with 3 clear tall defenders he’d get a game.

If he is a pure defensive player would cast a bit of shadow on his place next to Rory.
