If we get in at 5 they may not have any of the big 3 SA players left at 6 if we scoop the SA pool.

Say we have 2, 3 and 5 and we go Luko and Rozee first up. Saints take M King at 4 and then we had a choice of Smith and Rankine. In live trading on draft night if Suns prefer Smith I would be making Port pay us something (future 1st) to move up to 5 to get Rankine.

We are not letting go of pick #2 and really really unlikely to let go of #3. How many times does the club have to ****ing say it.

That would be a stupid deal. It seems like journos believe that Suns do whatever suits other teams. It's becoming ridiculous.

If freo lose a neale and get lobb and hogan, I'm not too sure they would go for one of the king twins

It’s clear to see the Suns are packaging picks to gain positions up the draft ranks. Do we really think they will go backwards at the 11th hour..

We have limited positions, it’s about quality for us not quantity.

If Hogan passed medical tests, pick 5 will be part of Hogan deal.

Yes and no for me. Part of me is very intrigued by that especially if it's pick 3. Popular opinion is we will take Rozee at 3 but if we can get him at 6 and gain pick 7 it's a win.

I agree with a poster above (apologies I forget who said it) let's try and get pick 4. Lukosius, Rozee with either Smith or Rankine would be lovely. I'm even starting to hope for the May for 5 deal. Take 2,3,4,5 into the draft.... I believe Charlie Sheen calls this WINNING!!!!

I’m not sure what’s giving me more anxiety.. Sam Mclure and Nick Dalsanto reving up South Australian and Victorian supporters or watching our supporters folding like cheap suits wanting to give away our premium picks. We don’t need QUANTITY, we need QUALITY! Just remember we have lost stars, we have just picked up other clubs fringe players... FFS....

Don’t have room for quantity anyway, we have like 4 free list spots and that’s IF may or scrim leaves. Every trade scenario so far that trade radio poses is a massive benefit to the SA clubs and a massive downgrade for us. Don’t pay attention to it

One possible scenario. Let's say we get pick 5 for May.

Suns draft with picks 2 and 3 whoever we want (Lukosius and Rozee). If St Kilda draft Max King and Rankine is still there for pick 5 and Suns would be happy to draft Smith instead of him due to flight risk or whatever then I would tell Port on draft night to give us picks 6 (Freo pick) and 7 (Wingard possible trade) for pick 5 and you can have Rankine . Then we would draft Smith and Ben King.

That would be decent overs for us! Port sacrificed 1000 points in picks swap with Freo. They seem pretty desperate.

It could be risky as there is no guarantee what St Kilda will do with pick 4. Depending who Suns want. We could actually try to get pick 4 with our 19, 24, ...

I heard one on Trade Radio yesterday suggest a really dumb move because of the “predicament” the Suns are in. Huh? What predicament? We currently have the strongest hand in the draft. Almost every mention of the Suns is given with negative connotations.
