I guess players are forced into it because everyone else is doing it. I don't think it's really an old school idea. I think social media with players can be great but these messages never really do much for me because they seemed to be lead by their new club.
 


Having watched this video, and not ever joining in the "we hate Barrett" scenario, I have now reached the conclusion that he is a w***er of the highest order, and has no credibility whatsoever...and to have him in charge of anything pertaining to the AFL media, is a blight on the game, and he should be traded to SBS and posted to outer Siberia, where he can comment on the state of the rising seal population.

Its a VFL competition and we are guests that are treated badly.

I empathize with the Suns, because my Club the Crows has been well pillaged in the past and present.

The team that we could have with the departed players would win the flag tomorrow, its almost a certainty.

You draft a Vic kid and the Vic Clubs will come after you. Mind you, if you its the same with WA, SA etc. Security lies in selecting QLD kids realistically.

Eagles won the flag on the back of the majority being WA players.

Do you think pick 8 can get Rozee ? Or Port get it first .If you think Port get it first you need to get Pick 4 for GC to give up pick 3.

Remember Port were the arseholes that threaten to take him, not us.

We may still would do it, but wouldnt be cocky about it. I know we did with Gibbs, but he had genuine compassionate reasons needing to come home in 2016.

Basically you need pick 4 , GC already got three KPP in Collins , Burgess and Hombsch don't think GC going for King twins now .

IF the siberian seals don't like playing in front of a frosty reception THEN maybe you should try seek further employment opportunities.

Thats 4 firsts and 1 second for Picks 2 and 3. You could easily rebuild a squad with all of that.

pretty close in value not counting next year's first round pick. i doubt we'd do it though, with the additional players like corbett, collins and burgess added to our list we're already tight on spots. an additional two picks wouldn't really be that much value to us i don't think.

I think you've answered your own question. Played in a GF in 2017 and have 8 13 16 21. That says to me, that you also easily build a squad with all that....and you keep next yrs 1st...

Which is why offering 2019 1st is the sweetner to the deal.

You guys get two solid drafts to rebuild.

What shits me is that if there was no SA kids of value, I would have happily kept all our picks regardless how good the other kids are.

Yeah but I reckon there could still be some quality SA kids at 8 13 16, and you won't need much to get back up top, whereas we need all the quality we can muster.

I think you have a little bit wrong here.

They are talented of course, but being local is the major draw card. You guys will one day see it when QLD players dominate the draft.

I think we are tired of being poached.

Its f**kin tricky as hell. Im not sure what happens, it is fascinating though.

You could land a bounty of picks for just 2 and 3.

I am biased badly here, but I would do the deal.

Cause it's offensive........he has since come out and apologised to our List manager........however, hopefully our Footy Dept, has long memories.
