I’m probably the third and like you, only part of me wants to know. The other part thinks whatever it is is not of my concern.Part of me wants to know & I think we’re the only 2 who don’t.
Impressive premiership list. Again of the past 2 decades, arguably 1 to 2 generations, no success. You could mount an argument, Gold Coast is more successful than Carlton in the modern eraI was trying to articulate that we Carlton can hopefully turn it around as well....from some of your others posts, I can see all you are interested in doing is slamming opposition posters even if they come onto the GCS board in good faith, so I won't bother again.
On a side note if your quoting history, maybe look at the premierships won list whilst you are at it.

Excuse the ignorance and disrespect if any its not intended.
Would GCS take all our picks 8,13,16,21 and next years 1st for Picks 2 and 3 ?
Thats 4 firsts and 1 second for Picks 2 and 3. You could easily rebuild a squad with all of that.

I sure hope not, give up 2 players that would be picks 1 any other year for the last of the elite 8 and 2 speculative picks that we don’t have list spots for. Picks aren’t going to turn our head and trade period to get us a player is now over.Would you do 8, 13, 16 and next year's first for 3 and 5?
What you need is get pick 4 from st Kilda .What about 8 and 16 for 5?
Blakey gets bid on which brings Sydney into the 'elite 8' and us out to 9 which is 'throw a blanket over the next 10 kids' territoryI sure hope not, give up 2 players that would be picks 1 any other year for the last of the elite 8 and 2 speculative picks that we don’t have list spots for. The thing to do in any sport or competition is to do what your opponent doesn't want you to do - which in this case is take those top 2 picks to the draft. You know you have a very strong draft hand when opposition fans are already enquiring.
Agree, the only way I can see Suns to trade pick 3 is if Port/Crows manage to get pick 4 and Suns would prefer Rozee over Rankine. Then drop to 4 with 10/13 coming back. The thing to do in any sport or competition is to do what your opponent doesn't want you to do - which in this case is take those top 2 picks to the draft.
The only play for us would be to get involved in a 3 team pick swap where we give up 3, only go down to 4, and get paid off with either 10 or 13 from either SA club.

Don't think Port want to go in with just 3 , 15 and the rest with junk pick . Pick 5 get Rankine or Rozee anyway .Hear me out here
I think we could get pick 4 by offering pick 6 and either 24 or 29. Why I hear you ask, well if the Saints want Max King and they know we don’t they get him anyway as Port will take the best SA talent but to ensure this, As part of the deal we then send pick 3 to Port ( so they can secure Rankine) for 5 and 10
We then take 2, 4,5 and 10 to the draft
Saints get Max King and a much needed pick ( their next is currently 36)
Port get Rankine, we avoid any go home factor with him.
Thoughts
What player would we possibly get at 5 that we couldnt get at 6?Hear me out here

Because we add pick 10, same players plus another top 10 pickWhat player would we possibly get at 5 that we couldnt get at 6?
My current draft prediction is we get lukosious, rozee and smith.
Why trade around just to secure the same likely players
But they want Rankine and either the Suns or Saints can take him. Saints board is right into himDon't think Port want to go in with just 3 , 15 and the rest with junk pick . Pick 5 get Rankine or Rozee anyway .
Why would Port do that ? If Adelaide did not get pick 4 from St Kilda . St Kilda already trade pick 28 out for two extra pick .Because we add pick 10, same players plus another top 10 pick
Correction pick 5 'could' get Rankine or Rozee - if we had 2, 3, 4 they would be nervous and may have incentive to deal. We could throw in our remaining 2nd rd pickDon't think Port want to go in with just 3 , 15 and the rest with junk pick . Pick 5 get Rankine or Rozee anyway .
Would hate to give port a leg up but id be down with that.Correction pick 5 'could' get Rankine or Rozee - if we had 2, 3, 4 they would be nervous and may have incentive to deal. We could throw in our remaining 2nd rd pick
2,4,5,10 and get a late pick for Pickett back from Port or Saints [emoji106]
Luko, Rozee, Smith, Caldwell, Pickett [emoji106]

I agree but St Kilda rather get pick 6 and 10 for pick 4 than 6,24/29. Port get *** one way or the other .There is a reason behind St Kilda trade pick 28 to melbourne for two pick toward the end of trade period .Correction pick 5 'could' get Rankine or Rozee - if we had 2, 3, 4 they would be nervous and may have incentive to deal. We could throw in our remaining 2nd rd pick
