On a side note if your quoting history, maybe look at the premierships won list whilst you are at it.

Impressive premiership list. Again of the past 2 decades, arguably 1 to 2 generations, no success. You could mount an argument, Gold Coast is more successful than Carlton in the modern era

Would GCS take all our picks 8,13,16,21 and next years 1st for Picks 2 and 3 ?

Thats 4 firsts and 1 second for Picks 2 and 3. You could easily rebuild a squad with all of that.

We don’t have the list spots and I think you know that you just don’t give away picks like ours in a super draft. There is an outside chance of getting pick 3 but it would cost you a very good player and pick 8 and maybe even next years first. I am sure you will go geez that’s far too much and your right but it has to be an unbelievable deal for us to consider giving up such a prized pick

Sorry Crows fans, doubt you can give us enough draft value to move on from #3 so you can take Rankine.

#8 is too far back in this draft.

Take out the King boys and Blakey.
We need to come out of the draft with any 3 of Walsh, Luko, Rankine, Smith and Rozee.

#8 guarantees us a Blakey bid which is worth eff all.

What you need is get pick 4 from st Kilda .
Those pick 24, 29 is for retention purpose as they don't normally ask for Premium to stayed after two year .
Expected players asking for premium salary for contract extension in this year draft
Lukosius ,Rankine ,Rozee , Kings Brother , Sam Walsh , Bailey Smith , Blakey.

If I were you , 8 Hately , 13 Jordan Clark , 16 , chayce Jones , 21 McLennan. Two half back and two midfielder .

I’d consider 6 for 8 and 13. Maybe even throw 29 back as well. We would probably miss out on one of Smith or Rozee but would give us a much better chance of securing Caldwell and O’Halloran. We could then look at packaging up 13/24 to move up again. All depends on what players we want and where we believe they will be available.

The only play for us would be to get involved in a 3 team pick swap where we give up 3, only go down to 4, and get paid off with either 10 or 13 from either SA club.

Agree, the only way I can see Suns to trade pick 3 is if Port/Crows manage to get pick 4 and Suns would prefer Rozee over Rankine. Then drop to 4 with 10/13 coming back.

With our current picks I’m confident we’ll be able to get at least 4 out of the top 5 players we are targeting. There’s still so many permutations as to what we can do to improve our draft position.

We then take 2, 4,5 and 10 to the draft

Saints get Max King and a much needed pick ( their next is currently 36)

Port get Rankine, we avoid any go home factor with him.

I agree but St Kilda rather get pick 6 and 10 for pick 4 than 6,24/29. Port get *** one way or the other .There is a reason behind St Kilda trade pick 28 to melbourne for two pick toward the end of trade period .
