If anything if the SA kids fail, they will come cheaper to us. We dont really need Luko at this stage. In 2-3 years there will be a need for him.

It’s looking like you will need MINIMUM pick 4 to get one of Rankine or Rozee depending on who we take with Lukosius. However you will need pick 3 if you have your eye on either specifically or you have to cross your fingers . It will be interesting to se if you make a play or concede one of them to Port

I've always thought it strange how a lot of North supporters hate us given we saved them from coming to Queensland

Pretty close I reckon. But I don't think we got Miles to play NEAFL so I would swap Ellis for him, and you're missing our no2 pick from last year in Weller and I think Wright will play before Burgess

I have Wright there in the pocket. I forgot Weller, maybe in instead of Ellis. Miles is good but you young guns Fiorini and Brodie get a look in before him.

Yep sorry. Missed wright hiding there in the pocket, which isn't easy to do with someone 202cm.... and I think all 3 of Brodie Miles and Fiorini will be in the 22.

You guys are going to love having GHS at your club. He's a genuine footballer, a great inside extractor, great use of ball, calm, tough and a great clubman. The players loved him and at the start of the year talked as if he was a certain starter. Unfortunately he had a few injuries this year (nothing long term) and also at the Cats we could not drop one of the midfield to fit him in. He's not super quick but he gets the pill and uses it. Wishing him and the Suns a good year in 2019.

I will say one more thing. From the looks of the new additions from the trade period I'd say Dew is building a team with character and commitment. The kind of guys that will be a solid foundation for the future and encourage and mentor younger blokes. Good signs.

How about he came back pre season with a fresh attitude and grasped the Captaincy and leadership HE ACCEPTED with two hands and led by example on and off the field.

A fundamental misunderstanding by other people who want our good picks.
No reason for us to swap.

All reasonable but The Gold Coast is a small place and in certain circles there’s nowhere to hide
But you could sit in the Bourke St Mall for 2 weeks and not see anyone you knew

I haven’t done the numbers so don’t know personally.
Other posters have commented above about it. Have a read.

I believe we have 4 list spots avail, 2 cat A Rookie and 1 Cat B rookie......including Ritschitelli going to the Rookie List.

Someone posted earlier that we could de-list a player and re-rookie them if need be.
I think we will use all those picks.

As much as they were the two best candidates at the time, I don’t think Lynch or May were really ready to be captains and especially not of such a young, inexperienced side. Neither of them were mentally tough enough.
