I think Witts is a smokey for captain.
He stepped in for one game last year unsure who else was injured.

Seems like a quiet leader.. maybe not exactly what we need.. but someone who plays consistent football, don't think the position would affect his play.

Previously it was selecting your best forward (who couldn’t put 2 words together) in an attempt to suck up to him to keep him around.
I think that will change to something ridiculous like a good leader, communicator and courageous etc..

You are not missing something, what you said is true , if my memory don't fail me , I read from AFL.com that one or two contracted GC r senior list player (2019) could be delisted and re-rookie to free up spots. Just happen that they are more expensive rookie players instead of 80k , but with May,Lynch and Scrimshaw wages free up don't thing salary cap will be a problem for 2019 .

3) Nicholls ( Unlikely)

Yes. Captains are voted in and then ratified by the board.

As much as he’s still a young guy, I find it hard to look at anyone other than Miller for the role, he just seems to naturally lead and isn’t as dumb as dog shit.

Isn't it 40? I looked on the previous page and it seems you have 38. But then you're upgrading MacPherson to the main list so that'll occupy a spot. What about the status of Nick Holman & Jacob Dawson?

No official link stated yet .GC website only said extended one year contract, very careless for the management to upgrade holman to senior list for one year contract where Rookie A list player can play AFL games anyway .

Darcy Mac need to be upgraded no matter what because he already spend three season as rookie A player .
Risca need to be delisted because he is on the senior list and Re-rookie .
