Yes. The communication for Lyons in particular was extremely poor. If we were told what Morris told us in his article I'm sure we would all understand. That makes sense.

We are a mile behind every other club when it comes to this.
Honesty is the best policy and all us supporters ask is that the club be honest with us. Not half-truths.

The club are being honest , work on his weaknesses in his exits meeting .

I think there’s the perception that the Club can maybe get away with things that just wouldn’t run at Clubs with bigger supporter bases
It does give the impression of Martial Law
Military junta in charge until things improve

Fair crack, mate. I have to put up with that here, I don't need it at the Suns too.....;););)

There’s no Way Lyons is a better footy player than Anthony Miles who was averaging similar stats in a top eight side.

Must have been some off field incidents too. I’m baffled; he’s a gun for mine. Not the most versatile player but really no worse than a Dom Tyson or David Myers. Baffling to see him just get flat out delisted, you’d think you’d have obtained a second rounder form Brisbane for him surely

Martin has to play forward or he's gone in 2020! Brodie MUST play in the middle and I'd say Ballard should be in as well. I'd see Ah Chee missing out but another also has to go to put Brodie in.....not a bad team and still a few more surprises to come - Pickett etc.

Haven't lost the faith just yet just like to see the end of all this trading so we can see who's serious.

The reason he was delisted was because he isn't in our best 22
But facts don't matter when you can bell the cat without worrying your whiskers are at risk

Agree Jack Martin should replace Sexton ,Sexton to the bench and callum ah chee off the bench playing HB .

...and still Young, Holman, Burgess, Ellis and maybe a few more yet to consider. Not a Premiership side but better than people think. I am of the belief some of the kids from this year may struggle to hold a spot if they don't improve - Ainsworth for one.

In term of Skill and Endurance I think Young and Holman- reach their Ceilling , Ainsworth only 21 next year a lot more to learn .

I actually don't mind Billy Hartung , 24 next year's , at least will be top 3 runner preseason with Shoenfield .

Schoenfields endurance has been such a good fit with the Suns so far?

If he didnt have bright red hair id have no idea who he is

What you expected from a second Rd pick from Clayton .

A delisting would be nice.
I don't think it is wise delisting a player still have two year contract to run . Not sure whose idea extend his contract to 3 years .

Read the article.

A bit of dirty pool from the Lions to only approach him after the trade period so they can get him for nothing, and rely on us have to let him off the last year of his contract.

Should be looking to trade up to Tigers pick (17), place a bid on their good academy player before the Lions 1st pick and see how they like them apples.

Don't mind Collins mate Nyhuis .

Besides his first game, he really hasn’t shown much. We shouldn’t be resorting to getting delisted players from clubs outside of the 8
Fair enough , just putting it out , no stress, Marverick will be the DFA coming in anyway.

question. don't players have their exit interviews straight after the conclusion of the season? why couldn't jarryd be open and admit he wasn't looking to re-sign after next season, so we could at least get some form of value from him in the trading period (like may)? regardless of what was written in that article from morris, i think it's pretty poor form when we're not going to get anything for him. i remember having a quick chat to him at one of those members "meet the recruits" nights after he signed and got the impression he only signed with us because our contract made his eallet heavier than what any other club could have offered.

I've met his Dad and he played at 10 different footy and cricket clubs - that mercenary lifestyle is in the blood
