I along with most on here have been very anti taking the King brothers... but if we take Luko and Rankine/Rozee with 2 and 3 and then the Saints take Smith instead of Max King.. expect Port to take the other SA kid that we didn't take at 3 and I think we should take one of the Kings...
Lets face it Sam Day is never going to be a great player... Wright could and should be and then what else is there as a KPF...
These King boys look coordinated and athletic which is rare at 6ft 8... they may take a year or two or three to come into their own but we arent trying to win a premiership next year.. beside Luko, Rankine, maybe a mclennan and O Halloran later in the 20's will all play lots of senior footy next year along with Brodie, Bowes, Ainsworth and hopefully Will Powell. . With all the mature bodies we have brought in also, we can afford to wait a year or so for Max King to come in and ****'n brain them...
I like to look at a glass half full approach, things can turn around very quickly..
Challenging for the 8 in 2020 with two more top 5 picks on board by then..
I really support all the moves, next year could be messy but I remember GWS were atrocious for a couple of years because they had the correct long term view..

According to Feller, the doctor who does most AFL ACLs players who did ACL under 18 years old have very high probability to do another ACL. This and that Max is a stick with min 3 but probably 5 years to develop for a big man it's very risky to draft him. He may also like to join his brother later in Melbourne after we develop him.

his highlights are pretty good can kick a mile on the left - gut feel he is a far tougher dude and better tackler than Hall

Sometime I think the Vic media are stupid , what is the point of getting rid of May,KK , Pick 19 , GC future second Rd and third Rd for pick 6 and Next year Brisbane future First Rd , then delisted so many players for list Spots to trade pick 3 and 6 for 1.

I heard KK and Hall want 600k a season for three years to extend their contract due to the premium they signed with Clayton previously .

Have no idea what is murdoch salary, obviously the number of games he play for Geelong this year are more than Hall and KK added up .NO point having good players that stay in rehab all the time , still need to paid them up . You either get sprinter than play AFL or keep AFL players that injured majority of the time and not professional in their preparation.

This is what some of the media are talking about down here in Melbourne. Apparently there have been further reports on Channel 7 too.

It's been pretty quiet so far with potential pick swaps, but it looks like the clickbait will begin from now leading into draft night.

pretty easy to speculate on trading the top pick. I’m sure there would be an article published somewhere every year about trading pick 1 but don’t think it’s happened v ry often..


On Murdoch. Not thrilled with the 3 year deal. Pace is his main attribute. Wonder how fast he’ll be at 30 years old.

Id consider him in the round 1 team but wouldn’t be particularly patient if not performing.
