Glad they won, them vs France is an exciting match-up, France v Nigeria would have been dull as.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but my old man still has beef with them for the Hand of God

You must have your eyes closed when you're watching every other team. Argentina are no worse than others. e.g. Nigeria was far worse than Argentina last night. I was happy to see them lose & be eliminated after their cynical, petulant histrionics.

I always barrack for the South American teams. I don't understand why any neutral would barrack against them. They're the best footballers, pound for pound. The most skilful brilliant players who play the game the way it should be played. The sport is like a religion in those countries. Their fans live and breathe football. All their best players are whisked away by the big money clubs in Europe. The World Cup is their time to shine. It's really just a glorified pissup for the European football fans, who care more about their club football.

I'll be cheering for 1. Uruguay, 2. Colombia, 3. Argentina, 4. Brazil (and hopefully Croatia can go all the way)
