Heartbreaking for Senegal, they played some great football and miss out on an overturned pen that was there. Happy for Japan but hope Colombia get dumped out by Belgium/England. They didn't deserve to top the group.

Senegal parked the bus until they conceded and went into attack mode. sucks for them but proves you shouldn't play it safe in these situations imo.
Japan passing the ball back and forth, at times just standing there with it, Poland standing there holding their defensive lines.

Tunisia didn't have the cattle, Egypt and Morocco were very disappointing imo, Nigeria had a crack but lacked a bit of class and polish, Senegal easily the best of the bunch, but may have been light in central midfield.

You’d rather take a risk that Senegal might equalise. Japan tried for 80mins to score. They did their job
