Geez you lot are arogant, it's if you think it never hits Mid 20's in Vic.

The weather will not be a factor here...........

It was all tongue in cheek but I just want to remind you what this tosser said.

"The AFL's first afternoon preliminary final in seven years has thrown up the possibility of the game being played in difficult conditions, with the chance of hot weather in Perth weather in late September.
In an elimination final in 2012 between the same teams, in a 3.15pm fixture, the game was played in 29-degree heat and the Eagles belted North Melbourne by 96 points.

The Kangaroos players struggled, with Jamie McMillan vomiting on the flight home due to heat stroke."

Pretty sure McMillan only vomited when he realised he played for North

Don't wish to entertain this prospect, but if we lose, what's our excuse...?
(outgunned by a better side, no NN-Gaff-Shep, no big Ezy?)

Hard to digest that we might not be good enough after overcoming so many difficulties/media storms
and still being successful, only to fall at the last post...? Doesn't seem right.
Could you say the same for Melbourne or Collingwood?

Anyway, there's only one course of action available,
to hang on tight, steer the ship right and shout the rooftops down!
Go The Eagles and Up The Bloody Coasters!

So much has been made of Collingwoods injuries and how they’ve done so well to get where they are. I reckon the quality of our outs can’t be understated during the year.. JK JD Nic Shuey Gaff Barrass have all missed considerable time. Collingwood has no backline but honestly.. their “story” would surely be on par with what we’ve had.

We’ve taken the reigning premiers apart (albeit at home), beaten 3rd place on their own home deck, 1 rotation down, for the first time in 20 years. Yet people have just written us off without a second glance. “How great would it be for West Coast to pull through and win it after all the ups and downs this season” none of that.. Would be nice for someone to acknowledge how our “weak midfield” has stepped up in the absence of Nic and Gaff. Wait nevermind.. Melbourne fairytale.. Collingwood overcoming injuries.. Will make it sweeter when we snatch it from under the nose of 3 MCG tenants (which is another issue in itself) leaving them stunned.

Agreed. Both teams written off at the start of the year and have battled through massive adversity in regards to injuries. Some really interesting stories can be told but are deliberately being ignored because the VFL and media want their fairytale. As I have said, if we don't make it I'm going all in for the Tigers or Pies.

Ducks and Drakes flying everywhere....?

along with one Melbourne media article after another on how to dismantle the Eagles...really has become
an East vs. West showdown! (let alone all that televised Demons fans at Optus biz..and the silly purple flogs
aligning with Melbourne...they really do need to get a football team of their own?

Caro and the Age news crew voted 3-1 for a Demons win over Eagles, citing their current momentum
to cause an upset by 4 goals.
They weren't won over by the Eagles win/Pies game as Pies midfield were underdone with returning players
and Pendlebury virus, so Eagles got on top finally,
but that won't happen with Demon's 'brutal midfield'...
While acknowledging Kennedy and Darling's prowess,
they doubted the two forwards would get the supply they're used to...?
